'Stalk' is rather a strong word. 'Passively take note of while idly browsing the forums' is a far more suitable term. I've been here long enough to figure out when trouble is going to start and (un)fortunately I usually seem able to guess who the people starting it are going to be.

Besides, we're getting off topic, and thanks for reminding me of that.

I feel that we need more spam control in the form of topic deletion/locking. Spam topics can sometimes be difficult to identify, especially when seemingly respectable topics turn astray. Of course we don't have to click on them, but I feel that all forums should be spam-free zones. The 'report' button is there for a reason, not that I've used it...yet.

Getting rid of spammy topics discourages the spammers so they don't do it again. Otherwise they continue to spout their phatic rubbish. A burst of draconian moderation usually does the trick.

The fact that I haven't really noticed you around (although I recognise your sig) probably means that you're either:

a) Not a long-standing member.
b) Not a potential troublemaker.

My point is that I'm against spam on principle. I know I don't have to look at it, but I know it's there and it irritates me that spam-artists can get away with posting such rubbish. It's giving SEN a bad name.

The forum is strict enough but we need a few more mods to watch this forum... or at least mods that come on everyday, the forum only has spam cuz people like YaeXirillion valuge. ive seen them spam alot

Spam messes up statistics and generally degrades a forum. Spam also gives visitors a bad idea of this site. Plus, spam creates lots of junk on the server and board index.
