Locks definitely pwn. I was a human warlock (named Doodan) and I got up to level 51 before I decided it was taking up way too much of my life. Fear is teh sex in duels and my pets and soul stones have saved me sooo many deaths and runs back to my corpse.
Also, from what I've heard, Warlocks will have some kind of soul shard pouch with twenty something slots that won't count towards their normal inventory space.
My brother is a 60 undead mage and he's got all kinds of l33t gear and has pwned (I never hear the end of it) at least one of every race and every class. He's got a good reputation on Aggramar.

Your brother can pwn any Warlock or Druid that comes to him (same level)? Then I shall ask him how he got to his Ub3r1337 level of 60.

He was an herbalist and an alchemist, so he always had healing potions ready. He was fully specked (spell?) in the fire tree, so he had massive dps. Also, he's been to Molten Core and other high level instances a zillion times so he's got a lot of cool gear from there (I don't know the names of it though, I haven't been keeping up with that stuff:P). Whenever he's in a duel or is PvP'ing, he relies on the dps so he can drop his opponent in a matter of seconds. If they can survive his initial volley of attacks (which is rare), he's in trouble. But he kills them first most of the time. My brother just has a natural talent for games. I could never surpass him in skill at any game (except Mario Kart). It just his "calling."

Gnomes make good mages due to factor of INT Increased. Elf is good for druid. Depending what you want to go, a Buffer / Support healer or a Coward Controller as well dmg dealer kinda 2. Mage more for coward control and dmg dealing as well few other things, a Druid is also ok dmg dealer but good at adding buffs // support healer just like paladin, while priest is main, unless shadow ver. So really all up to you if you want be a buffer/support healer or a coward controler/with nice dmg.
