However, I will say this, because I think you may find it somewhat useful.

You're born in a world with the odds stacked against you. The system is set up for the majority to succeed, and the minority to fail. Your parents live from paycheck to paycheck, barly getting by (working poor, ie: everyone in a ghetto). One unexpected expense and they are in debt. The debt's interest is only adding insult to injury. Your school supplies (books, pens, calculators, etc) are hard to come by, and all that you can achieve with all of this is a high school diploma. College is too expensive. Your high school diploma won't get you a better job. You work all day at ****ty minimum wage jobs. Your have become another working poor. Your only hope for wealth is an illict organization of drug trade (or to become a basketball player). You are the average black man born in America.*

Did you suffer these same odds? Did your parents? Did anyone in your prep kid neighborhood?

Explain your parents situation please. If they were working poor, there's no way they could escape without getting lucky. Explain how your parents got the money to move to, and buy a large apartment (four computers for a family of 3?) in the U.S. (New York, no less). Talk to your parents and ask them what they think about the working poor in the U.S. I can almost guarentee they have a lot more compassion for them than you do.
