You call each other "africans", and in doing that you're saying its okay that it doesnt offend you, but when we say it...its racist.

But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

You can have Hispanic clubs and Africans American clubs but we couldnt even think of starting a white club without there being controversy

Hey, I admit I'm racist. There are stereotypes of, usually blacks, being lower intelligence. I know it's purely nurture, rather than nature, but it's still a stereotype. People complain that people are discriminating against them, when they can but won't do anything about getting better.

(most)Black people live in the ghetto. There's no denying it.. and for teh asians... most of them do good in school, we all know that.
Stereotypes are not racisim, there is a difference between "Most black people smoke pot" and "You're black, you must have smoked pot"

Stereotypes hurt because there's truth behind them.

Its becuase whites didn't go through a massive struggle to get to the social standing they are now. With our ancestors being England, theres no need to ever be ashamed of our past. Therefore being "proud" to be white holds little water. But for blacks, looking back on their ancestors as slaves shipped like cargo from Africa, they can say that they accept that, and are "proud" to be black and live the life of a black in the new era.

On the other hand, the slavery is over and I think people need to move on with their lives. Forget racism.

Black people in my school brought it onto themselves. I'm not the one who choses to use slang, use vulgar language, do drugs, not study, not do good in school, have sex early(-_-). It's their fault. They're the ones who are giving themselves a bad reputation, not us white people.

I really think that this whole issue needs to be dropped. This is America, I can call you a <insert dirty word for black here> if I want to - but you are free to treat me as you like for it. I will admit, I am generally less initially friendly towards blacks, because I find them generally hostile and crude. Emphasis on generally. I've had several blacks that I've been friendly with (no good friends, mostly a function of blacks being in the extreme minority here [<5% or so]). I have a similar reaction to hispanics, especially Puerto Ricans...but one of my best friends was half black, half hispanic!

Hey, I'm Irish and Scottish. There's plenty of oppression in my ancestry, maybe even more recent than slavery of blacks. And what about them Jews? They were in slavery for nearly a millenia, if not more! Do they complain? No, they do good in math and become accountants.

Yeah, I was lucky to not grow up in the early 1900's.
It sucked for Irish people in the United States.

They do this where you live? We have a word like this where I come from, only it's not racial. It's called preppy. It isn't okay to call white people racial names, but I'm doubtful this happens often.

Because we all have them! We could hardly be considered a victim of racism, only really, really *****y people complain about it. Yeah, it's not right for someone to assume you're rich for being white, but it's a lot worse to be automatically penalized at a job interview because you're black.

Poor you, you live a really tough life there not being allowed to say n***** in front of black people. It's racist because it's discriminatory, and has been used in history negetivly. If a black person calls another black person a n***** it's obviously going to be recieved a little more positivly than from a white person, because it's like saying my equal, as apposed to my lesser, from a white person (because that's how it's been used).


White people don't steal, or murder? Black people don't do this to one another? It's a situation of economics, not colour.


Again, when does this happen (whites being called racist for upholding the law, I mean)? If a white person in the same situation would have been let go, then it is racist. If it was necessary force, then he's not going to be called racist.


Most clubs already are all white culture. Let them keep their culture alive yah prick.

Untrue, all races can be racist. The white race happens to recieve the most benefits, so it's not seen as a bad thing for whites. The only negetive affect we recieve from racism is being asumed to be racist on less evidence because of our history and probable upbringing.
