the kid wasnt killed. he is in critical condition though. he said that he would kill people and himself with a painted pellet gun.

That news article is a broken link.
Why would they shoot a rubber bullet? Guns are made to kill, not give bruises. If the police started walking around with rubber bullets then criminals are more likely to ignore police guns.

I saw this on the new a while ago. The S.W.A.T. team did exactly what they were trained to do. The kid was suicidal they said and was very dangerous to all around him.

Wow this is dumb...if they got snipers why didnt they confirm that it was fake? Stupied snipers cant do their jobs? Maybe, never know.

it was a painted pellet gun they look very real. he wasnt sniped either he was gunned down in a bathroom.

Yes, like what everybody said, it's the S.W.A.T's duty and trained like that. If the student wants suicidal or death, that's what most teenagers do, but guess what? Teenagers has the most deaths out of the rest of the ages.

Ok, I skipped over the last few posts butanyway, heres the facts.
He didn't fire upon them, he raised it at them, which is enough reason for me, because I'm not going to wait to get shot to shoot the farker.
Also, i've seen alot of school bathrooms with windows, and my last school kept them open (but led to courtyard).
He didn't die in the shooting, he went to hospital and was declared brain dead/died.
He painted over the red tip of the gun so it looked just liek a berreta 9mm.

They usually use Rubber Bullets for surpressing Riots or shooting at people standing around with swords or something to wound them.
