Gothics are that way because they want to be, mainly because they want to be unique, not some "rebellious" people like you call them, in form most goths are not "satanists"; very few are actually. It's a very different sect people, get it through your thick skulls. Also, most goths do that to gain attention, but some people just don't like the norm, as I said, "to be unique"

Yes, i am quoting myself because apparently none of you will read my "fkin" post. I read something about attention that I'd also like to point out to you, making themselves goth is there only way to be under a title that isn't negative immediatly like "Loser" but since the majority of goths are former "Losers" you assume there social label means loser. I'll give a good example of all the social group labels. Geek- most likely wouldn't feel superior acting goth or intimediatly or the goths wouldn't accept them so they say stupid things for attention. Preps: dress in certain types of cloths to make themselves look friendly, fun, or any kind of social benefit which is the oposite of which goths try to show present indirection towards themselves but if they were indirect people then they wouldn't friend other members of there social label. Loners are probably the only social group that truly do not enjoy social interaction, they are the few that do not feel the need for attention, and yet funny how they don't dress like most other social class is it? they are most likely the kind of person who would have maybe one friend in each social society. Im convinced that the majority of the teenage populations bevahoir is based on steriotypicalness in social interaction.

Zombie, I don't really know you, so I'm not going to judge you by your past behavior, however, from what I can see now, you are acting like a real meanie. Everyone has their opinion, and me and a few other people happen to think that goths are losers, if you don't agree with this opinion, then argue it in a mature manner or just don't reply at all and ignore it.

However, today I mentally threw up. Some kid next to me thinks this other kid is 'depressed' and 'goth' because he dyed his hair black. Not every depressed kid shows it in their dress, and black hair doesn't mean a damn thing..

But the thing is, if you dress or act 'goth' to be unique, that's not being unique. Be yourself. Like me, people would classify me as a nerd till they got to know me. I sorta wear whatever, but have a wierd personality. One day I may be violent and outspoken, next day I could be shy and nice, etc...no one can really classify me. A couple kids said I was 'bi-polar' which I would need to agree with, but that doesn't really matter, in this case. Thing is, no one judges you on what you really are unless they're a close friend of yours. So most goths are mistaken as morbid, depressed, etc...

Silent, you should just be quiet, you say your "gangster" witch is alot worse than goth. so stay out the conversation inless you have some thing worthwhile.

I WAS a gothic. I hanged out with lots of different kinds gothics. And eventually I turned 16 and came to my senses and noticed how lame almost all of them were.

What country's constitution are you taking this from?

People keep assuming that goths are wrist cutting bushes, but keep forgetting that there's a whole other stereotype for that.

I have nothing against goths. They are what they want to be, and intellectually, as long as they don't get into drugs or other stupid stuff, it's good for them. My friend (who is a goth, but doesn't really have the mindset of a typical goth) once said, "I'm doing this now because I know, once I get into the business world, no one will like it." He as a valid point, and while you never hear of goths 'growing up' and moving on, it does happen. How often do you see fully decked out goths at a job other than Hot Topic or Spencers?

I am being open minded, But these people are apparently stupid as hell when it comes to a conversation. Look at there posts, You honestly want to tell me that there posts even support what they are stating?
