kenoli, those properties are correct... jeesh.
This unit is awsome. THANK YOU RANTENT
man i need to re instal my starcraft so i can test this unit, sounds trippy cool.
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR MPQ WHEN MODDING!!!! I DIDNT BY MISTAKE GIRE!!!!
I am using explorer anyway, I am not sure why it is not working, but oh well.
This does not have anything to do with EUDs... But I guess I would like them back none-the-less.
As for the accuracy of my list... you can post what is incorect, that would be more helpful that simply stating it is incorrect
I noticed that when I ordered my Carrier to attack unit 2008 after it went off the map via recall, the interceptors became unselectable after they reached it. After I ordered my carrier to stop, I selected an interceptor and the game crashed.
Oooo... Nice observation Tsu... Maybe that could be put into a map to get rid hackers?...
I took a quick hex glance at this unit, correct me if I am wrong, its properties do not fall in the proper areas(hex). The normal guide lines to retrieve data from units on the unit table do not apply to this unit. Maybe I should look again, eh?
Woh, what? What do u mean Mr. Moo Cow? I don't hex... wtf did u say...
If I am correct I think he is saying:
Where the normal unit properties would be located in hex, it is not located there. Where the data is taken from for most unit, such as a marine, it is not taken from for this unit. So apparently it is different than most units.
That was my best inturpratation... the only hex I did was when I would unprotect maps for information.
Thanks for looking into than Mooo.
What I was saying (basically Joker was correct) was that there is a format to which individual unit data is stored in the unit table (1-1700) that applies to all common units. Example being +0x09 (or 8?) is where unit current health is stored, +0x4D is where current unit command is stored, +0x64 is where current unit type is stored, etc. (+ meaning 0xXX from the base unit pointer) This specific unit (2008), from a quick glance, did not seem to follow the same format, it had data where common units don't usually have data and it had absence of data where most common units did have data. Example : this unit had a value of 0 where common units store there health, it had a value of 0 in the command byte as well if i'm not mistaken. I hope this clarifies, I have found I am horrible at explaining things, apologies.
No, that was very good Moo. thz
Where can I learn to hex?
What is hex? I want to learn about this 2008 unit but can't right now
You do not learn hex over night. It is like uni-code (is that right?) but insead of 0101011101 it is based off numbers 1-8. Depending on where the numbers are located determines the value. It like learning map making I guess... but more complicated.
So where do I start to learn?

Read and understand everything on
this page. =)
....of course you know that blizzard patches every fun glitch found....
Thats becuase glitches can crash SC. And they can crash your comp. (i.e. something on Faith and Destiny made my comp crash, no harm done, so I'm not going to go crazy about it.). But glitches are cool
and are fun
but can be annoying
, so, its ok if they patch em.
I am amazed!!
It cool that there are so strange stuff in the game!
Another thing that amazed me was that the map is 256x12
Is there any practical use for this?
O, kool. I didn't realize the map demisnsions! So 12 works! And isnt there a badly made map of this in the expiremental section? ( I mean badly made... Still, that map does have this kool unit...)
I'm going to attempt to figure out this unit.
Maybe in correlation with unit 6667, we can get some REALLY cool effects, (because I've found that it has different (random?) properties depending who owns it.) so wish me luck lol.
I can't place my unit 2008 in me map. Mapsize is 256x256. I dont know why, i placed it bottom left corner of the map.
Wait, what i mean is that I CAN place it, but when i play it in battle.net or single player, i crashzor automatically.
I dont know why, does anyone know why its crashing me?
I think that you dint give it enough room... ( I am not an expert, so don't rely on my answer). But, it should look like a rock in Starforge
Lol, I got that as well, Whenever an Illegal unit/sprite is detected then starforge just places it as a rock doodad.
It can't be mind controlled, maelstrom'ed, locked, hallucinated, or broodlinged
Scarabs explode before hitting it (Probly cause its so big)
You can make interceptors attack it while the carrier is a mile away (Very cool)
Now here's where you can get creative ---- IT CAN BE BUILT UPON
Lifted buildings still go under it
Maybe you could disguise it under a cc somehow and have battlecruisers yamato it from a mile away for a cool effect in a galactic war map or something
