The fool didn't start it, he asked you a question, and when a cop asks you a question you're expected to answer it, or rather, you're expected to not ask a stupid question. The cops mean business, they don't need to waste their time.

That's great and everything but it's NOT AGAINST THE LAW. Which is the point here, he shouldn't have to pay a dollar for doing what he did. We can all sit around and give Zombie some manner lessons, which would be wise for the future and would actually help you out in the future, but right now you're not guilty of anything. Maybe being a jerk to some guy, but that's not against the law.

Policemen are protectors of justice, not the infringers of rights. So Zombie has the right to ask stupid questions without having any consiquence as long as it does not endanger the policeman. It's not, the cop thought he was asking a stupid, unneeded question, probably as a joke, so he arrested him. Do you really think Zombie doesn't know what's wrong with running from the cops?
