Electricity wasters. I turn mine off if I'm going to be gone longer then a few minutes. We don't have the luxury of wasting money like that. Oh, and a computer requires alot more electricity then a lightbulb. Though I usually turn them off when I leave the room too.

Computers don't take that much power if you have a good one. The one I'm on is my parents, it's gonig no the decade mark. (Yes, they have an old computer, it's been on since 1998.)
Mine has been on since I got it in August.

What if there's a power outage?I have to leave my computer on. If I turn it off that means my bot is not online, and that means people in my clan will go nuts.
You get on SEN in 4 seconds of login?
I turn my computer off every night. However, I'm on almost all day so it's almost always on during the day.

Then it goes off for a second? We don't have many. And almsot all are one second dealies that just retstart the thing.
7.5 days at the moment, although it's been running for about a month before.

Ah. Out here it's typical to lose power for hours at least once per winter.think the longest record for uptime is about 43 days...but i had to reformat my computer(again) 2 days ago because something got screwy...its probably on about 2 days...i leave it on and it isn't much...it just goes into an automatic sleeping screensaver thing until my next time to use it so i don't have to wait for a startup,i turn off the monitor and the speakers too...
its just more convenient on leaving it on, even though you use it often anyway...
