How long is your system been on?

I've been on for 5 dyas, 1 hrs, 41 mins and 6 seconds as of this being typed.

I had to restart computer. It's at around 2 hours now. 'My Computer' wasn't showing up and I could run hardly any programs. Explorere (not IE) wasn't loading properly.

For all you people who leave it on all the time: Aren't you thinking about your parent's electric bill? I turn mine off every day. It's been on for about 7 or 8 hours today.

I have to leave mine on anyway. My dad's computer use to hold all the system files that basically makes our network run. But his old one broke and his new one is using a lot of new stuff he needs, so I need to leave mine on. Also it takes like 30 minutes for this one to load up, which is a pain in the ass.

Plus how many times have you left a lightbulb on in a room you're not in -.-. ALso it's not like we leave it running Doom 3 all night, I turn my moniter and speakers off.

If you must know, I'm a bit of a nazi when it comes to electricity conservation, so I always (unless there's a really strange alignment of stars that day) turn the lights off when I leave a room and constantly do it for others.

I don't shut mine off much, I practically never shut my monitor or speakers off. I usually forget to turn the lights off too.

I keep mine on because usually when it's on, and I'm not at it, it's closed so the only thing running is the fan and hard drive (occasionally)
