Stirring gently gets you nowhere, you need to create a whirlpool in that glass of milk.

you said it brother
umm,i'd pour 1/4 of a cup of chocolate syrup and pour the milk til the cup is full...then i would add some toppings, put some whipped cream and marshmellows on it...
can heat up the chocolate milk on cold/winter days to enjoy it to its fullest
i know we all enjoy eating or drinking unique things, like adding something people really wouldn't and think it'd be wierd...but it suits your taste...
I use syrup, so it's different dynamics
First, you put all but an inch or so of what you want to drink of milk into the glass.
Stir with spoon.
Add syrup
No scraping bottom needed
The best thing is putting milk in an empty water bottle, add syrup and shake. It's so frothy!

I put powder, then milk, then more powder.

And look at Mill's post for why.

I know; I am a great stirrer. It was supposed to be a lame jokeā¦ (I am not funny.)
lol, I don't see how you people put the milk in first! It doesn't taste as good even though you get to see the chocolate island.
It tastes exactly the same.
I put the milk first because I use syrup. If I didn't, there's be a large amount of wasted syrup at the bottom that my spoon wouldnot be able to scrape up.

syrup is heavier than milk so..... you still have to scrape the syrup around the cup.
Well first off, any chocolate milk I make is more than your ordinary cup of chocolate milk. I always must attempt some intense new trick while doing so, like adding a different ingredient, finding new ways to add the ingredients, ect. Safe to say I don't get to make chocolate milk often.
On average, I think I add milk first normally though.
And mixes are lame. Always make your own mixes.

That's why you stir it while pouring in to emulsify it. Even if you didn't, it'd not attacth to the wall/bottom as easily since there'd be a layer of milk in the way.
