Today I was making Ovaltine and I accidentally put the milk in first. I put the mix in after and noticed it didn't taste as good as when you put the mix in first. How do you prepare your chocolate milk?

The reason to why it tastes better when you put mix in first is one of the great mysteries of life. I put mix in first.

Mix first because when you pour the milk in, all of the mix powder get's owned by the force of the milk.
Whereas i fyou do milk first, the milk powder will float, and thus not meet the full brunt of the milk's desolving power. If you do mix first, the mix won't be able to float to the top because it would've already gotten owned by the force of the pouring milk.

I put milk first, but I use chocolate syrup instead. None of that mix.

Buy some ovaltine, it comes in a blue cylinder. It's really good, never goin back to the syrup.

I put powder in first, then add a bit of boiled water to melt the powder....and lastly add the milk.

Stirring gently gets you nowhere, you need to create a whirlpool in that glass of milk.
