Thats why depressed people should help out each other in hard times like this. I mean I think it is better to discuss depression with depressed people than people who have never been depressed. Depressed will understand better.

Yeah, chocolate releases dopamine and serotonin which are the feel-good chemicals in the body.

Two depressed people can probably relate very well, but thing is they both have trouble knowing how to get out of depression.

Good news: I got the project done

I can garuntee it will get a horrible grade since, even after four hours of work, it was a month-long project...

40%-50% is much better than 0%, however.

And my parents are EXTREMELY anti-drug freaks. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was seven or something, but I was never put on Ridlin. They'd never put me on Anti-Depression or anything.

I still don't know what to do about the overall problem. There will be other projects like this, and I must get them finished non-half-assed style.

And all the ADHD people I know are very, very happy people. I may have both, which sucks total and utter ass.

Even when you are that ill? I don't see how your parents can accept grades slipping when they see the grades dropping a letter at a time.

Oh, and about the chocolate. I once spent twelve dollars on vending-machine herseys bars. Then they ran out, and I was like cry.gif

Oh yeah, and these two things happen today:

Everytime I heard 's' in any use, I mentally cringed. It was like every 's' I heard in every sentence around me was amplified to be like fingerneails on a chalkboard. I have no clue why, after a while it stopped.

I had an INTENSE craving for techno music nearing the end of the day, and on the bus I was almost shaking. When I got home I ran into my room and pumped up the techno. Ten seconds later I was just thinking 'WTF?', because i no longer had the craving.

I swear I am going nuts. And please realize that when I'm sleepy I can't think very straight and if something doesn't make sense it's me not you.

if you have trouble doing work, then it means that you aren't interested in it
try thinking how the work can benefit you (maybe it helps for your short/long term goals)
also, you have to want to do the stuff, and keep thinking about it and only it (dont get distracted by past experiences)
lastly, if you really cant concentrate, food helps smile.gif (healthy food)

Pfft, lol. Sorry I just can't help it.

Neways, I think you should find someone face to face to talk about your problems to. Or if not that, at least a 'voice'. We have given you quite some advice, but graphics texts can convey only that much. Try talking to a trustworthy teacher. School counsellors are good too, only if you don't mind others asking why you go. Or I'm sure there will be youthlines in your country that you can ring to and talk to someone that listens with empathy and will keep everythying you said confidential.

That really is pretty weird..
Not sure about the "S", but about the techno, maybe it has some backmasking in it?

That could be the source of the craving, and the depression, some ppl even commited suicide after they listened to songs which had subliminal messages in them... But there should be a better, and a more logical explanation...

No I've been like this longer than I've known that song existed.

And I won't commit suicide. That's just like, impossible for me.

I've found if I just sit down, put on some techno and meditate, it helps. Just meditate to clear your mind. I got kind of into psychics and if I'm bored or something, I just try to do someting psychic. Whether or not I fail or succeed, it gives me something to do and usually it requires me to clear my mind for one purpose, so it's mentally helping.

Sounds like a good idea. In fact, I used to meditate while listening to music, but after a while I decided it was wasteful of time and never did it again. However, it might help.

Thank you happy.gif
