I knew it! I always kind of believed in #3 tongue.gif.

Until a few days I go, I also believed we evolved from monkeys due to hearing it my entire life from various (though unreliable) sources.

If the first cell was just spontaneously created, doesn't that in a sense defeat the point of evolutioin?

in away, that's the first cell "evolving" by pure chance from organic molecules, which "evolved" by chance from nonorganic atoms....an experiment was performed in which organic substances were produced from atoms believed to be in the early atmosphere...

Ugh. For the last time:

Abiogenesis != Evolution.

Also, as time reaches infinity, the chances of anything occuring (given it is above zero) is 100%.

I am a total evolution believer. You can't say anything to change that. I believe in evolution only because it is only resonable answer out there to prove our existance. We are here because we are. There isn't any specific reason to it.

Lol no? Evolution explains how life changes after it is created. I don't give a shiz how you think the first cells came to be, but Evolution is irrefutable.

Evolution is EVERYTHING.

Time? Ha! It's EVOLUTION. Time is a perception that Man (We pathetic Humans) created in order to understand the natural processes (EVOLUTION) of the Universe.

Neanderthals to Homo Sapians? Ha! EVOLUTION!

Seriously. Evolution exists, and is in everything.

Just face the facts you bible thumpers.

if a person strongly belives in God, the creation of man By God is a fact for him.
you won't change his opinion even with latest research

It's all about the darwin. He just said over many many years parts seem to adapt to they environment etc.. Can you not tell my the pointlessness of out Gol bladder, Nails, facial hair. There must have been a reason a long time ago to use it or somthing, or coming from the apes of some sort. So i belive it just occured over time and naturel selection.

This is complete and utter blasphemy! The concept of mankind appearing from a rib is totally more reasonable. I mean come on!

Not just Darwin, I believe there was also a Dutch scientist or what ever you wanna call him, studying the same matters as Darwin. He also came up with some logical theorys. And wasn't Darwin and extremely religious man, and he is how old? What could change an aged mans faith so quickly? Maybe theres something he didn't tell the world!

Evolution and the Bible could possibly be the same depending how you interpret the Bible. The "days" could be millions of years. Evolution is a series of mutations, yet where did it begin? If the first cell was just spontaneously created, doesn't that in a sense defeat the point of evolutioin? I'm probably overthinking it.

The idea of aliens just watching us seems kind of far fetch'd. For all we know, we could be the most advanced beings of the universe right now.

The is a completly reasonable .. reason .. for the creation of the 1st oranism(s), the earth was constantly changeing, adapting and recovering. There is a extreme possibility that all this massive change could have created a organism.
