or maybe i could just skip the edit bmp part and just add the original emp in ice into dt's attack script(overlay). i was going to try it but the problem is

is there a emp heading in ice, cuz i cant find it, what is it called?

btw i downloaded ur special palettes file but retro gp wont work with it

when ur in ice, the line "place active overlay(image.dat) 0 at verical 0"

what should i put in the first 0? is it the header id or something?

Thats where you put the Images.dat Id # to use for the overlay

thats strange is it the iscript id or the grp id?
i tried both of them and they are nothing about emp

no, it's the Images.dat Id # that you see on the bottom right of DatEdit

allight, daemon1129~!
just follow like this then u could figure out other work too by ur self

if u use DatEdit or Asenal ,then go to images.dat editing category taps
1 . if wanted grahics is EMP hitting, then just selet that on the names list

2 . then will show that images details sererval substances
and look at ID number, and memorize that number ~!
Grp file number is just number of TBL file (table list)
(atually image is totally not single frame there are animation frames so u have to think that animations scripts too)

3. in ur work with ice, if u want see what mermorized number is what showed graphics
then go to GRP preview and typing that memorized image ID number
in center input field and click [Prev] button then u will see images of frames

4. and put number in varriable of the scripts line
u could make work with such like that way

when if u use Datedit, use [jump] functions that give to Automatical selecting
and searching so then u could be work more simplified

Not at all,
anyway i have a plan to write Tutorial to create custom Graphics from other stuff

so if read that tutorials when will post here, u probably could make custom particle animations from other graphics of games or web animation / graphics
( such as Warhammer40000/DoW, C&C-series, civilization, webanimation GIF and etc.... )

that would be good for General modders who's none CG Artist
look forward to that tutorial

that palettes format is Microsoft palette
because that palette created to creat or edit with image Editor such like PhotoShop
so when if use Retro GRP then u had to
convert to StarCraft pallette format by with PalEdit
