Owned @ Kow

I just think that we need to tap the oil we have in Alaska. It's not going to affect the enviroment on the scale that people think it is. We'll still have our baby seals and walruses.

I've even said that it was mainly about the oil. The U.S. politicians got angry because Kuwait was drifting towards the middle east warring, which by the way will never stop unless both sides are completely killed. Also, I don't believe Bush believes we are there because of terrorism, which was Afghanistan so I'm confused as to why we are there, because he was highly supported by all the major coal and oil industries. I agree however, I believe it's mainly other politicians in the administration.

I agree with you Kow. But Bush is just a tool used by Dick Cheyney.

The oil in Alaska would only last about a year.

Look in an environmental textbook. One year is the expected amount. Of course, if we all changed to hybrid cars, it wouldn't be depleted so quickly.

Blame bush he wasnt, suppose to be president. Blame fox channel 2 for putting false information about bush being president before he was elected. Blame governer of florida for messing votes up. Why blame these guys becuase they all lead up to Bush.

Just a few days ago Bush came to California hidden inside an armored car with like 10 police cars. He came to my little town Palo Alto where a lot of rich people live, pretty much where silicon valley started and where Stanford is, but still he wouldnt even wave to us, and he heard that there were people in Stanford waiting for him like some people holding up posters about gas price, issue and etc. Just becuase of that information Bush did not even go to Stanford University. I mean who is this guy?

Also bush was the first to not walk to the white house after he was elected. He went into his armored car and drove straight to the white house, when all other president walked there.

Seriously who is this guy that runs are country when we actually didnt even elected him. He is even afraid of his own citizen's.

The several hundred al Qaeda members, we were told, hate us because: "We're rich, we're free, we enjoy materialism, and the purveyors of terror are jealous and envious, creating the hatred that drives their cause. They despise our Christian-Judaic values and this, is the sole reason why they are willing to die for their cause." For this to be believed, one must also be convinced that the perpetrators lied to the world about why they attacked us.

The al Qaeda leaders say they hate us because:

-We support Western puppet regimes in Arab countries for commercial reasons and against the wishes of the populace of these countries.

-This partnership allows a military occupation, the most confrontational being in Saudi Arabia, that offends their sense of pride and violates their religious convictions by having a foreign military power on their holy land. We refuse to consider how we might feel if China's navy occupied the Gulf of Mexico for the purpose of protecting "their oil" and had air bases on U.S. territory.

-We show extreme bias in support of one side in the fifty-plus-year war going on in the Middle East.

The question that one day must be answered is this:

What if we had never placed our troops in Saudi Arabia and had involved ourselves in the Middle East war in an even-handed fashion. Would it have been worth it if this would have prevented the events of 9/11?
