there is no Cold War now. just concurence, but that is not powerful enough to make them do something serious. it's all politics. they don't spend so much money on it just cuz there is no "race".

It makes me sad how humanity needs competition to get a desire to advance technology or explore =/

*the flag in the video does'nt look like its waving and the way it is makes it hard to beleive its held up by a string since gravity would still act upon it

It was vibrations that was making the flag go back and forth, not air.

I remembered I went into Mars, I brung a shotgun, a M4A1 Carbine, Sniper Rifle, flamethrower, and a rocket launcher. I'd figured there would be zombies and the hellish creatures would come in and kill any astronaughts so I barged in and killed everything.

You'd think so, but I doubt it.

Though I believe a man did in fact land on the moon, there are still some interesting arguements, these include:
-The flag waving
-The lack of stars
-The fuzziness
-The speed of the footage when doubled
-The background
-The shadows
-The reflections

Of course, many of these have been explained.

confused.gif Why even question the fact, we said we did, some people don't believe we did... honestly who cares, it was 1962. I believe we did land on the moon, facts aside I don't think our government could have pulled off tricking the whole world, I mean we couldn't even kill Castro.

Only thing I could even think of that might indicate we did not land on the moon is... why haven't we done it again?? Like i said it was a long time ago and it doesn't really affect our lives at all anymore so it is easier to just not get frusrated puzzling over it. biggrin.gif

Not much reason to go back to the moon when we already went there, and the economical costs would be too high.

crazy.gif do you think the video that they showed of the people in the control room was just a room full of actors???!!

Personally, I don't believe it was just a bunch of actors, but if you have the chance, watch the footage at double the speed. It's quite awkward how it looks like they were riding a rover on earth.

Conspiracy theories are not serious discussion.

I beg to differ. I dont care where you put it, but the fact that you think that bothers me. Conspiracies are very serious.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by HolySin on 2006-05-02 at 21:11:08
Well, a conspiracy theory may be light discussion, but I believe it may be serious discussion when there is enough evidence to support each arguement. Since many of the arguements for pro-conspiracy can be logically explained, the issue with the landing on the moon conspiracy is light discussion.
