The most logical thing I can think of, is the units are invincible, and have so much HP that the wireframe doesnt change colors when Stim is used. Either that or he's just a lying idiot.

I'm almost positive that no matter what amount of health, even after like 1 damage 1 part of the wireframe goes yellow. (I might be wrong)

Make a Marine with 9999 HP and use Stim, look at the wireframe.
It didn't change. DT_Battekruiser's theary is quite possible.
Wait, didn't I mention that idea yet?
To Heimdal: Erm, I believe that the maps' been asked for several times now...

Ok wow this is ticking me off. First off, I already covered all the bases as for what it could be. I said it could be this, this, or he's just stupid. Then Mr. Blue Text comes along and says BUT IT COULD BE "this" or "this" which I already said and goes on to say I shouldn't say he might be just stupid. Also I was the FIRST PERSON to suggest the wireframe idea, don't take credit. Yes, if you have 9999 HP no part of the wireframe turns yellow when you use Stim for quite a while. Also, the map has been asked for, several times, and as someone already said, the original creator of this topic stopped posting.

Heimdal, if that really is you, why'd you have to be a censored.gif and stop working on StarForge on APRIL FIRST! I don't know what country you are from but I know that in a lot of them, that's April Fools day. Amazingly no one else seemed to notice the connection but it ticked me off for a while until I realized it wasn't a joke. I was looking forward to the day when StarForge didn't suck.

Power overwhelming just makes it so enemy units can't hurt you. You can still hurt yourself. I don't normally cheat, but I was playing SC at work, and the internet was down, so I was forced to play against comp. After a while, I got bored, and mashed in a full barrage of cheats. However, I lost numerous units, from nuking and seige tank's splash damage. I did stim, and don't quite remember if I lost any life or not, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't, considering every other source of damage from myself still hurt.

Try stimming repeatedly. The wireframe will change, unless, as DT_Battllekruiser was correct about a set units HP to 100% trigger being in use. But nonetheless, it still is causing damage, it's just patching itself up to fast to notice it. I think the original point of this thread is that, supposedly, stimming costed no life, NOT that it could be made to APPEAR to lose no life.

Yes, he is the real heimdal. He stopped working on SF because he wanted to make his own game, and he didn't think of april fools. Also, he is from USA.

Salacious, im really starting to dislike you. (again)

Yes he is heimdal and would you give the poor man a break. He doesn't want to read your crap. Besides you should learn to work with what you have, or at least learn how it works.

I'm sorry if you guys misunderstood this but I was insulting his CHOICE OF DAYS to officially quit work on this. I'm well aware of the long hours and grueling work required to make such a program, whether it works good or not. I work with what I have. If he was still working on it, and it was still sucking, I would give him a much harder time on that. Now he's not.

I don't give a damn if it's on April Fools.
And plenty of people didn't realize it was serious for a while... I think. I knowI was one.
Also, shouldn't someone lock this thread?
Multiple ways for how this could have been done have been posted.
Though, the Firebat need not necasarily be invincible. What if it has 10k+ HP?

Yea I don't think this is ever going to get answered. Whoever made this thread will probably never come back, and the issue will go unsolved. Not that it matters, he was probably mistaken, or maybe just lying to get some attention. So... hopefully a Mod will lock this topic soon.

We cannot get an answer if the guy that started this dont comes back and answer or posts the map, so:

Close this topic?
