I would say I agree to almost every member who posted here except the thread starter 
. Normal people dress whatever they want, do almost whatever they want, etc. Goths care nothing about no one and from what I've seen only wear black. I know not all Goths the same, but since you say they are..

Free-thinkers my ass. Whenever you disagree with them or do something they dont like they have a hissy fit. IMHO goths are failures that have no life so they dress in black as an attempt to hide their inadequacy.
If you need to cut yourself, get mad amounts of piercings and dress in black to be "free feeling" then you have issues.

Sure, I have upsetting days, hell I've probably lossed people more than you (if thats the case) and I don't cut myself. I've lossed about 5 or 6 people that were very close to me. Don't give me a whole bunch of this I will cut myself if you do that!

Marnadule, just cuz you think goth is cool it doesen't mean that you can convince other people in it so easy. i don't go like "LISTEN TO METALLICA" just cuz i like MetallicA. different people like different things & you try to proove them wrong, when there is no right or wrong. you like goth - like it, nobody forbids it.

He's trying to amke the point that no matter whether you're gothic or not limitations aren't changed. Although I disagree, there's so many people out there that dislike goths they're going to try holding them back whenever the opportunity presents itself.
