NOTHING MAKES SENSE ANYMORE, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ....... there is no spoon.
But skeletons having health is really weird, do you get health from ewating their bodies?

its a game u crazy evil ppl, the gold is for balance, Are you asking the programmers to have no gold so you die all the time? I'm sure u guys couldn't do better -_-.

Lol, that's my B.net name, well my other one. But yeah, if you didn't get gold from monsters, you could only get it from missions or looting. I have a game where you can break into peoples houses and stores and steal stuff.

Well with the Health thing and the skeletons...um... well skeletons r like raised from the dead right? Well, everytime the Skeleton get hit, than thats puts more strain on the raised skeleton. So after a whole bunch of hits, it puts 2 much strain, and the skeleton falls back to the ground as inanimate object....

You have to get money from killing monsters, I mean how else are you going to make a living? Save the world?

I have not read all of the replies so forgive me if this has already been posted...

The whole concept of having enemies carry money is to have a miniature economy put in place in the game. Though I agree with you, Baulder's Gate has a really interesting and revolutionary economy style.
