FOR GODS SAKE!

WHY WOULD AMERICA WASTE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR A CHEAP HOAX WHILE TODAY THEY CAN BARELY GET FUNDING FOR MEDICARE? SOUNDS LIKE A STUPID IDEA TO ME! IF WE DIDN'T LAND (WHICH WE DID) THAN WHY IS THERE SO MUCH EVIDENCE SAYING THAT WE DID?
You gotta look on both sides of these things, that's just one piece saying the we did land and there are also pieces saying we didn't, I null voted because I don't care if they faked it or not. mellow.gif
If they did, good for them.

Its hoax they didt send censored.gif it was done it hollywood.I seen a special on it some guy went up to some of those astronauts and told em to put their hand on the bible and say that they landed on da moon......Most of em kicked the censored.gif out of him and went away.I believe russians would be the firsts ones to land on the moon.Russians didt care about their cosmonauts it could of been a suicide mission one way trip. There is so much evidence that americans didt land on da moon.Only way to find out it too send a exploring craft or what ever to the moon and compare stuff.Oh and i dont belive they had the tech to doit ither.

Oh and mind..... did americans see the russian catostrophies with their space program no.Dude everything back then was less advanced.

You people seem to be in denile. You believe everyhting the goverment tells you.

Wow, that hurt my head. That had to be the dumbest, most incoherent response yet. First of all, you claim they "done it" in Hollywood? Special effects back then were a joke. They could not recreate the effects of low gravity in a vacuum, which is clearly visible throughout the footage, especially during the landing. So please explain to me how Hollywood managed to create a vacuum large enough to fit a replicate lunar lander, back then.

Yeah, believing something off of TV is so much better. Who said anyone believes everything the government tells us? I for one strongly believe that the government lies to us about a great many things, for example, recent Bush bull censored.gif . However, I am confident in the landing on the moon, mainly because all credible evidence and logic points to its truthfulness. I'd try and disprove your other nonsense, but your post is so incoherent it's hurting my head just reading it. So, rather than attempting to decipher your bull censored.gif , I'll consider this case closed.

Go Go MindArchon You pwnt them all...And what i posted is a fact indeed....They had to do a fake lunar landing...And the camera from the Lunar lander did shoot everything else...But it is a fact they had to make a fake lunar landing to show the public...

rip.gif u won't belive me...the next post after this will probably be a bunch of crap I'm guessing chair.gif

Ok what ever dumbass.Linux go censored.gif your self u stupid censored.gif .Special effects? you idiot it just takes a set it could of been done in the desert too some scenes.I could go on and on but why argue with a dumb censored.gif like you.

ON TOPIC: I thinked that it was false but after seeing that website... hmm... RUSIA would have noticed it and would have said it everywhere, it might be true, but we will never know the truth tongue.gif

K sorry clokr. But americans didt see the russian space program only the succeses. They didt see all the fail attempts that killed alot of cosmonauts.Point is i dont think they could of seen it.

Soviets were aware of American succesess. They didn't publish them because it will reveal to the public the the americans had taken the lead on the race to the moon.

Soviets were in a desperate hurry to land first and they almost did in 67/68. I saw on History channel that they had made a new and bigger rocket with a new type of very flammable and explosive fuel. In the test runs it blew up because it was so flammable and explosive. The Soviets knew they didn't have enough time to get a new rocket powerfull enough for a manned mission to the moon.

The Soviets later sent unmanned missions some which did pretty good and some failed like the one flying next to Apollo 11. I said that in my other post.

The Soviets knew that the Americans did land on the moon they just didn't publish it they said the mission never occured for propaganda purposes.

Well at that time they though americans did land. But they could't of known for sure. There satelites telescopes were't powerful enough to really see.The americans didt know about the failures of the russian space program until like a few years ago.

Yeah, you really present a solid argument here. Oh, wait, you don't. Between your incoherent swearing and rambling, I was able to make out that it could have been done in the desert, according to you. Really? How did they create a low-gravity vacuum in the desert? Please inform me how they accomplished this feat, considering it would be expensive and tricky for such a thing to be simulated nowadays, and completely impossible back then. If you watch the Lunar Lander land on the moon, you can clearly see the dust expel outwards from the land beneath the Lander, and fall downwards as if in a vacuum. So, how did they emulate this? Please inform me, with your masterful expertise of physics and Hollywood effects in the 1960's.

Low gravity eh,meaning like the astronauts jumping around .... there such things as strings ropes etc.. the flag could of stringed too meaning from all sides it would be held by strings. Now the flag was PERFECTLY STRAIGHT IT DIDT EVEN GO UP why is that why was not slighty going up?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by linux_junkie on 2004-08-04 at 19:23:23
I wasn't referring to low-gravity, for the most part, but the fact that the particles of dust were obviously in a vacuum, which was completely impossible to simulate back then, and it would cost a fortune to make it nowadays, without resorting to computer effects. Not once did I mention the astronauts jumping around, etc. I specifically stated the point that was unfakable, that of the particles in a vacuum. Yes, the low-gravity could have been faked back then. The particles in a vacuum couldn't of, however.

Ok i dont know much about that. There is alot of evidence that we did land on the moon but there is also alot of evidence we did't.I think i heard somewhere that japanese sending like a explorer to moon or something, one of the objectives to see if we did actually land on the moon or something or to find the flag? which is kinda stupid u think the flag would be gone by now.Do we even know where exactly we landed?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by linux_junkie on 2004-08-04 at 20:11:09
Yes, we do know the exact coordinate where we landed, and, more than likely, the flag is still there. The lack of wind or major geological disturbances mean that the flag has probably survived, and intact at that. It's kinda funny to think that, after 30+ years, the flag is still standing and untouched. Astronomers haven't sighted any meteorological impacts or anything in the vicinity of the landing site, so yeah, it'd be pretty cool to see the condition of the landing site artifacts still there, if anyone gets around to doing a lunar flyby.

Thats cool if we in fact did land on da moon. But what ever lets end this topic there is no end to it.
