A good idea, but it just won't work in this map because there's no real "neutral" building population to draw from. Or if you're recommending I do this for your own faction's structures, the idea doesn't give the right gameplay feel. Troops from your own team are called in, not magically given birth to in the middle of nowhere (like SC does).

That idea is being implemented in multiple abilities; maybe not "from the base" in all situations, but you get the gist.

Awesome idea to bind items with this... I already have a Drop Pod ability in there, which is a supply drop with troops; to do so with resources would be kind of redundant 'cause you're receiving a salary constantly. As for air strikes, I'll incorperate an "Air Strike Marker" or the like to designate the target (Drop Pods already have one but it's a slightly different concept.) This also allows people (friend or foe) to mess with the ability by using SCVs to move the marker around or away. This results in football-suicide-runs and, inversely, panics to get a marker out of, say, a base. As for "radio" items in specific..... no, sorry.

The Nuclear General is actually the normal ghost, and can make nukes in his ability area for relatively cheap. Unit HP for a marine is around 450, nuke damaged averages around 200, so the nukes do not kill many things, and the "tactical" aspect of it is achieved.

I'm tossing this idea around. Missions use a LOT of triggers and a LOT of strings, which I'm carefully managing. So maybe 1 or 2, but in the form of major mission objectives. Like killing that third faction leader.
