Nice idea... I stopped playing CS because its all glitchy now... Maybe you should put in a game-mode selection instead of just a bomb map... So you can also play hosties. wink.gif Or you could just have one of the maps be bomb and the other hosties... or something... Whatever works.

is it guna be like 1 or 2 shots and ur dead, or like 10 shots and ur dead?
also, are u going to have different areas so people can pick each lvls of the game (aztec, dust, dust2, cbble, inferno, ect....) or are u going to have a random battle field?

as for a smoke effect, why not just make it so the players around the smoke, (that are enemys) don't have vision in that certian "smoked" area (i'm not sure if its possible or not hehe).

and as a fan of cs, i can be a tester if u need

The damage will be exactly like in CS. Here is what I will use for it.

The map will probably be as it is now, just random space map. But your idea is very interesting. I could expand the map to max size and make all those maps into 1. I will have to think about it though.

That smoke effect would be impossible, I believe.

Lol just make a smoke thing where when you throw it an air unit moves over you and when it leaves a big location around you another location centers on it and creates hallus or something

I have done:
  • Key# input system
  • 98% on the shop, grenades left to do.
  • Radio menu
  • Weapon changing unsing key#s
  • 591 triggers
Units - Weapons:
  • Knife - Zealot with speed upgrade.
  • Handguns - Infested Duran
  • Shotguns - Tassadar
  • Sub-machine guns - Marine
  • Rifles - Hero Marine
  • Sniper rifles - Hero Ghost
  • Machinegun - Goliath
  • Grenades - Defiler with dark swarm

Now I have to start the biggest part, the firing system. Wish me luck. happy.gif

A big problem with using authentic CS stats (accuracy and damage) is that the CS numbers were implemented for a 1st-person shooting game, which depends on players misclicking just as much as players clicking in the right spot.

So... will you do an anti-lock system like Snipers too?

PeazeL made a similar map like this. I believe it was called Squad Wars. Pitty he didn't advertize the map more, it was actually a really fun map with a full house and everyone knowing the controls...

Wait so DEAD are you using bold locks system or just standard attack because for the zealot it would be a pain to click as it is just melee.

PM me and the others when ready.

And also here is another idea for a weapon/item. For a rocket launcher someone may grab it (but only 1 at a time or till he dies) and it is an dark archon. No specials though. So then every when an enemy is detected in the area or can be done from far away it will explode on impact. Or it could be a second defiler that has that abilitie but has more range.

Damage calculator I'm using to get the real damage amounts does not support shotguns. While I understand that you can't calculate the damage right because they shoot diferently. But I still need to set their damage to something. Please help me to set the shotgun damage as close to real CS as possible.
