I've never seen either. Map nights make it somewhat active. Other times it is usually a few bots and a few afk people.

Yeah it really is lonly on USWest

Also, thanks to moose for making this news. We had about 25 people in the channel at one point. Very successful.

ADDITION:
Due to my lack of news posting abilities, I updated my first post. I hope maybe to get bot access and some news posting abilities. I'm not coming back to SEN full time, I'm just going to manage some map night stuff and post fun screen shots, apparently a lot of people enjoyed the fact that I took screen shots of some fun moments and posted them in the past.

Also, please refrain from whispering me just to chat with me unless its important, or else I won't reply. If you wish to chat with me personally, you can msn me @ msn@latova.com.

Lastly, everyone has a habit of saying "OMFG ITS YOSHI" as soon as I enter the channel. As funny as it is, its spamming the channel. Please refrain from sayings like that, although I love you all anyway

Thanks. I'll make weekly screenshot news posts showing some of the crazy moments that we have during mapnight (I can host these images on photobucket).

Also, if anyone attending map night has some crazy moments they got some picturse of on map night that they want me to post, you can send it to mikelat@gmail.com in a zip with its orginal PCX form, or unresized JPG.

Hm.. does anyone else have a problem attending because it's on saturday night? I usually go out saturday nights, and it'd be nice if it was earlier in the day saturday or on sunday or something..

We (me and a couple of others, but mainly me) are planning a massive one-off event named Oktoberf3st, which is going to be on the second friday of october.

We're planning on having 3 channels and it will be on USWest (instead of east) and we we are hoping to put a news post on here about the night. I'll have to pm someone about it...

We're still not sure of Map type, channel or time yet, but hopefully this will help dramatically increase the interest in map night at SEN every saturday.

I actually remember the 5 minute idle ban, like a couple of years ago, i would like go to pee and come back and not be able to get back into the channel haha.. but, as annoying as that could be i still loved it

I can't believe I actually forgot about map night.

I'll sure as heck attend more often, especially since I'm working on a teamwork map. Takes you back to the good old days when there weren't a thousand sexy pics and dirty defend maps.
