Man, if people were willing to go as far as EUDs I'd be impressed. Not sure if I'd allow it, though. tongue.gif

Anyway I'm almost ready with the test map, but it's taking a bit of time to make the triggers for detecting units and pricing accordingly.

The Resource allotted seems a bit much.

Why is Run AI Script not allowed?

You should make the list "Allowed Actions" instead of "Prohibited Actions".

The Move Unit action should be prohibited completely.

Naw. Move unit doesn't stop units from doing battle or nothing. Besides, I want to see what fun stuff people come up with using mobile grids biggrin.gif.

And I'll turn down the resource alotment after I get some tests in, if necessary. I want to see how far people can push this thing. smile.gif

On closer consideration, yeah I probably should remove Move Unit altogether. I can see it causing problems, now that I think through a few test scenarios.


In fact, now I'm beginning to wonder if this whole thing was such a great idea. Seems to me like it'll just be place some units, order them to enemy, watch some carnage, gg. Not too entertaining.

But I dunno. Think it's worth a shot to go through with anyway?

You made "create unit" action forbidden. But how to make an Science Vessel grid then ? I think you must have a rule:

You can use "Create unit" trigger only if the unit you are creating gets killed in the same trigger block and that trigger block has no wait actions in it.

And yes, I want to help test. If you're on US East, then it's like this: when you get up at 8:00 AM it's 13:00 PM for me tongue.gif

Naw, I'll do it later. I'm suddenly running out of time and having doubts simultaneously. It'd be a mess if I tried to run it now. I'm gonna wait until I can get a better block of time.

Still not done with the template map, even.

How about this instead:

Make an AI Hero Arena. There will be several human spectator slots (probably 3, 1 for either of the competing mappers and 1 for a judge). Most of the map is already completed, the only thing missing being the triggers for 2 computer players. These are the triggers that the mappers have to make and have the judge import into the map. Locations might present a problem, but everything else should work fine.

Details can be added with RPG elements like powerups and heals and so forth, etc.

i think at top of screen should be ai options wer u set ur attack places and ai scripts for attking. and rest should be play feild. u can choos an action like first atcion attack yellow (next)ground forces attk direct (next) air units cover ground units. like mix them for more stratagy
