So wait, what does that prove? Boba Fett was still just as Doodan puts it when it comes to thew original films. You're taking more literature that was added decades later (that wasn't in the films) as a base for your argument. I'm glad the fictional universe of Star Wars expanded so much that it created tons of people that didn't make it to the movies, but I'd consider the movies to be the bible over the websites and books that followed.

1. Star Wars = 100% fictional.
2. The Star Wars Universe > Origional Trilogy. The whole universe of it makes up of lots of books and alot of them didnt come "decades" later(I.e Grand Admiral Thrawn Series)
3. If it says it on www.starwars.com then thats how it is.

Then let's just agree to disagree. I think I'm right and you think you're right. No matter how long this goes on, we're debating for nothing because neither one of us (or Doodan, for that matter) will change the other's mind.

And to be honest, I prefer LotR to Star Wars.

Truly. I really only watch the original trilogy (and I mean ORIGINAL, not special editions), and I try my best to pretend the prequels or the extended universe never existed.

The books are considered cannon unless they contradict an earlier book, or movie. Bob Fett is not confirmed dead, and he had a jetpack. What's so ahrd to imagine about him surviving?

Very true. I especially enjoy the x-wing series, and the wraith squadron series within that series. Wedge Antilles ftw!

Well, maybe one of these days I'll get around to reading a book. I kinda liked the N64 game "Shadows of the Empire", which I heard was based from a book. But I doubt I'll ever consider the prequels in the same league as the original movies.

Eh, it's not hard to imagine him surviving. I DO have a hard time understanding the fanatic following he has. I don't get what makes him so cool. As I said before, for someone so "cool", he had a pretty humiliating defeat.

I havent read any sequel books but I have read prequel books a lot of them. Most of them suck, Star wars: Jedi Trial and Star Wars: Medstar duology were really bad, and I dont understand how I actually finished reading the books when I look back on it.

Star Wars Episode III trilogys (Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, and Star Wars: Dark Lord: the rise of Darth Vader) were by far my favorite star wars books.

Trust me dont read any non-new york-bestselling books, they are really unworthy of even reading. I havent Read new jedi order, but I quit reading the Dark Nest trilogy after the first book.

The discussion is still generally around the prequels/extended universe VS the original trilogy, and ROTS is a prequel. I don't feel like its too off topic.

Lemme think.... the plot of Shadows. I'm going on memory here, but you play this guy named Dash or something. It begins during the Hoth battle in Ep. V. You help out there and eventually escape. You chase around this other Darth character and find out about this spaceship called "The Skyhook". Then you go and blow it up. There's more, but my memory is pretty sketchy. I haven't played the game in at least 8 or 9 years.

Well the only Star Wars game I own is Star Wars Lego I and Star Wars battlefront II they aren't half bad games though.

The only Star Wars game I've ever owned was Rogue Squadron for Nintendo 64. It was fun, but I haven't really been able to get into any newer Star Wars games.

My biggest complaint about star wars video games is how almost all of them focus on the extended universe and the prequels, rather than the original 3 movie stories. I know there are a couple out there, but most of them aren't focused on that. But if it weren't for those original 3 movies, they wouldn't be able to make money hands over fist on all these other games.

Huh what book? I dont know which book you're talking about. Can you give me the name so I can read it? (I really am tired of reading star wars books in random, and being bored if they arent good books.
