So I'm confised now. Yoshi said that everything but the minerals will remain when we switch (meaning name effects and member type). Since he's no longer a part of SEN's future, is this no longer a fact?

How about we keep the members, regulars, and elites status and the posts and the minerals when moving to v5. I mean we earned them on v4 why should we lose them if someone else wants to make another version.

I had it planned to keep regular / elite status... but I suddenly had this idea how they aren't necessary.
As said before, minerals will not be kept... posts will. But post count will only be a number.
Minerals because of the hacking and mineral exploiting. Everyone will be on a level ground (zero) in a new economy. I hope to make minerals actually worthwhile with more things to do and etc.
Just wait and see... those who doubt me (DTBK). You'll have to wait a while considering you won't see everything planned because it won't be done at launch... but just wait. And trust. (If ANYTHING, things can be changed back to v4-like.)

Maybe some shoutbox related items?
For example unlock new colours, or even your own personal hex colour (although Farty's shoutbox already does this) or maybe purchase new fonts for the shoutbox. Or perhaps even some bbcodes ([i], [u], etc.)

How about, Buying your own forum. Or having more abilities on SEN then regular members. I think that their should be a lot of the same as v4 but more options.

Wait wait wait, you mean to tell me you can get your own separate forum if you pay $20?! Damnit, why isn't this bribery advertised more?
I don't think getting your own forum has a point, either. Basically a bunch of people would have space-wasting forums full of topics that would otherwise belong in Miscellaneous. If they were to use it to advertise maps in production, it would probably already be in the Maps in Production forum.

Well, its just an iodea. This whole topic has been based on ideas, look at some of the good ones on here that are coming up. I am just trying to get people to think of some good ideas you can buy with minerals, because as of right now, they are almost worthless to have more than 20 to buy a ticket or box!

Actually DTBK was responding to IP's post about getting rid of the Regular and Elite status rather than transferring them to v5 when we switch to it. People generally don't like the idea.

I just remember the store and arcade being fun things to do in your spare time (like posting in the "Discussion" forums). Now, the store just seems useless because minerals are completely pointless. If we had that forum RPG mod thingy, then perhaps it would have use again. But now... meh.
