thats the problem, they were only on staredit.net.... i had to reformat beetween now and when i posted rhem and didnt save them cause i expect them on staredit.net but oh well its a shame =/

1. You should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS save a backup, or like 100, all over the internet. Especially if you put a lot of effort into them. SEN isn't the best place to depend entirely on. No place is. But with downtimes... etc... I think you get it.
2. Didn't they say they would only delete protected maps, because you can't get a pic for them? Might I ask why you bothered to protect a melee map in the first place? I mean, someone who really wanted to copy your map could easily copy it tile for tile. Well, I guess it'd take effort, about as much as doing a web search for osmap.
It just sounds to me like you didn't care enough. If I were you, I would've submitted the map to numerous sites, SEN, maplantis, SC.org etc. and kept a copy on each computer you own.
P.S. and use the spellcheck thingy, it's there for a reason
