Scout has better acceleration than shuttle, but i'm going to probably give it speed.

Anyways, time count violation i really dont see a need for it, because if they aren't hutting, nobody is playing, and nobody is having fun

Good job on terrain on this, I hope you got some good sounds and gamplay to keep the player pumped up for some football action!

I think that you would need one, so crybabies trying to ruin the game cannot do so.

Bah, I'm a member of ScVz clan, and ScV football isn't meant to be fancy and full of effects. You're supposed to concentrate on the game. The game itself is not football, but SCV ( I repeat SCV) football, a new game.

ADDITION:
Also, in the screenshots there are some coloured rings around the units, the same colour as the unit itself. The line is dotted (kinda). How the work did you make that?

I can't wait to see how it is, if it is anything like ScV football. (Would think not.)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Koltz on 2007-01-13 at 13:45:49
No its nothing like SCV Football, anyways i updated a few minor things, you can DL ver 1.05 now.

ADDITION:
Okay, this is nearly 99% done, only things I gotta do is fix bugs if they still exist, and add the extra bonus features to make it pretty. Feel free to test latest ver, 1.07

Love your work so far on this map, but I have a suggestion.

Possibly, if it's not too complicated, make an option when the QB can drop a "RB Handoff" unit from the shuttle which will make it so when the RB comes into contact with the QB, it will automatically hand the ball off to him and he can run with it, without having to slow down for the RB pass or risk an incomplete.

And add the defensive line!

I think you can just go behind the QB (RB goes behind) and it will automatically hand off. Am I right Koltz?

DM It's a 4v4 football game so I don't think there will be a defensive line.

Cool map and relatively original idea. Definitely looks a lot better than SCV Football.

New Additional Information

40 Yard dash for each unit!

Quarterback: 7.56 sec.
Runningback: 6.89 sec.
Wide Reciever: 7.12 sec.

So as you can see the runningback (scout) is actually fastest.
I use this to my advantage, will you? *wink

not necessarily, PCFredZ just likes pinning threads. although the last time he did that to a PT, he ended up killing it.

Wide recievers are faster tha running backs...

Runningbacks are always the best runners on the field, so logically they should be fastest

I agree about the unpinning. Especially for production maps. Moose did something similar with my Mechnogears Mk.1 as news but I didn't feel it was ready for that yet. I don't doubt this map has potential (though I'm not much into football either) but it should be an actual product before it starts getting hyped.

We should be using map spotlights for these instead. Do we still do that anymore or is it reserved for contest entries?

BUT recievers are FASTER. Running backs might be strong and fast but recievers are the best RUNNERS on the field. Look at shawn Alexander, Jerome bettis, Im sure every wide reciever in the NFL is faster than thoes 2.

I seriously doubt your football knowledge right now, Runningbacks are always the fastest on the field

"How you think shawn alexander ran through the bears line? nobody could catch him"

well, i don't watch NFL, but i do watch CFL.

and at least in CFL, the runningbacks are indeed the best runners(in both speed and agility), with few exceptions
