Ok, Not much work has been done cos I've been out these past few days. I've just completed the Handgun Shoot/Reload triggers for all players for both Slot A and B (Minerals=Slot A, Gas=Slot B)

Anyways hope to get some more updates filled in soon.

So player can change weapons during game??
Then you will need a Virtual HP or they will heal by changing weps.

lol this current file size 399kb, not friendly to Battle.net aye. I agree, a Battle.net version with no sounds or preferably 50% of the sounds taken would be fine.

I did a test here, I removed all the reload sounds and it dropped to 354kb lol so not much of a difference.

Removed the second music sound file and it dropped to 286kb. Hmmm

Im not sure, anyways another update later coming. Ive pretty much covered the weapons for all the players so the only few trigger sets I have to do now is the randomized monster spawns and stuff. Oh and I guess ill add in virtual Hp after all, never done it but its pretty damn simple.

Not so sure about that when u have to do it for many players.
You should make a Burrowed Zerg unit following every player location.
Make it with 200 hp or w/e and when it dies they player dies.

400kb actually is rather bnet friendly, and when you introduce an easy to play Resident Evil map, people tend to flock to it.

I know this beacuse I had one, 359kb map, and on dial up people stayed :P

I dont get how can you dont get it.
I mean that you could have burrowed zergling or w/e zerg unit that would constantly move to location that follows player main unit.
So only the burrowed zerg unit would have hp and would be attacked and it wouldnt heal when u would change weapons.
But i guess it was too complicated for you.

Actually the ling would heal, and enemies wouldn't target the ling, unless sucide ai script on was on though. But doing that would cause panic in the map.

When a player shoots the zombie, it'll run cause your invisible.

First of all, you're explanation into the idea was terrible. You failed to describe in depth details such as "Players unit remains invincible." Secondly, I will not give you credit because it is a public concept. Thirdly, you failed to mention the few drawbacks to this idea such as burrowed units constantly moving to the players location will slow down the main unit dramatically and enemy will run off when the player shoots them because the main players unit is invunerable.

One COMP enemy player will have Suicide AI script on, while one is just free roam. And yeah it is a bad idea.

Bring 0 burrowed lings to Player location.
Moveunits all lings from anywhere to player location.

Make 1 comp slot - Virtual HP thats alied with players and with zombis.
Make Player unalie Zombies and Zombies alie player.
And you dont have to make main units invincible just:
ModifyUnit HP - Main unit, at Player location, 100%; preserv.
Then make second, bigger location following main unit:
Bring 1 Zombie to bigger location.
Order zombies at bigger location, atack smaller location.
Wait (or use death counters or something)
Preserv
And it will atack the burrowed unit.

As I stated in a previous post when you suggested Virtual HP should be used, I said I had never done Virtual HP before nor had any experience in that section. But its fairly simple after reading through the tutorial.

ADDITION:
This map is knocking the s*** out of me. Ive never done so much triggers in my life. But I'm happy to announce virtually everything for the players interface, switching weapons, ammunition storage, dynamic ammo, picking up weapons/ammunition, picking up items, virtual HP, is completely done. Basically, anything triggers that involves the human players is 90% done. Alot of work has been put into this, and I have not given it up yet. Which to me, is a road to accomplishment, I will be getting this map done. This week, or next. I wont stop.

Next step now is to call upon a few beta testers and upload some awesome in-game screenshots! I will report back when the time is ready.

I hope not. But two reasons why I added it.

1. I needed more items

2. Actually is so damn simple to do the infection process, except only thing that might be abit time consuming is triggering the infection. (...Randomization)

well you could put an object called "Anti-Virus" from REOB Saga,you know,works very well to stop for a little period the virus gauge.

Or if not,you could put some explosives or vaccines from RE3 (the UBCS forces use them to restore their virus status)

By the way,you wil, put secrets in this game?

And other thing,i dunno if you have testers yet,but if you can ill be one,always if you want. blushing.gif

Secrets are in the game man, the Secret weapons you can unlock. Advanced Assault Rifle and Advanced Flame Thrower. There is still yet a secret weapon to add which Im unsure of. Might add a secret +1 Upgrade and +1 Armor to the game.

Well, I tried a similar project and didnt get the time part to work cause of the way I did it. I hope you found a way to do the time +. Also if you need a herb system Bonelesskid made one for the map, sadly I never finished the map. If you need it just PM me. It had a good combination system.
