I know that, but the weapons are already in the Shuttle, but whrn you find the weapon upgrade itself it sets the switch off that activates the cannon. wink.gif

So you drop units out of a shuttle to shoot? wierd..
Do you have the shuttle selected all the time pretty much? and how often do you shoot during the game?

yea, it's like the Dropship Method, but with a Shuttle, and no, you dont always have the shuttle selected, but it will be in control of Player 1 all the time, when it is not targeted on an enemy it is in a spot on the map, so it can be hotkeyd, and you will be shooting alot in the game... and there will be much more then shooting happy.gif

confused.gif So what exactly happens after you drop a unit out? (for the normal shot, or something simple like that)

ok what i do is when a unit drops, it makes a bunch of flashy explosions and such tongue.gif and reduces enemy health by X% all of my things are splash due to a level up skill system.

confused.gif You can't subtract %life from something, only set it. Or does it damage it with something else? And how do you shoot again if you dropped the units out?

They way he uses it is like when a unit drops, it will create "Flashy Explosions" and it will Set the enemies health to s certain ammount, and then it will set a switch that if you do it again it will set the health to less and repeat until the enemy is dead, but from the sounds of that, my system is much more complicating, cause im setting health and also useing normal attack from the unit, and other non-complex crap with AI Scripts and such... Special FX, etc... This battle system when done will be godly w00t.gif

It will look godly to those who know it, otherwise it will just look simple and stuff to others! Still good work, hope it all works, so it will slowly kill them then! Try to keep it working at a good pace, thats all i'll say.

when i was posting about SC2 i just came up with a good idea,
like when a Tank, Vulture, SCV, etc mech units are killed, a Civilian or a Marine comes running out of it, or Ultralisks trample small units such as Zerglings, Marines, Zealots, etc. those will be part of the battle system + RPG wink.gif happy.gif
