Ok, my battle system for my Metroid Prime 2: Echoes will be like

It will be using a Shuttle, the Shuttle will hover over the Target (Player 5)
When a unit owned by Player 6 comes in the 10x10 Location Range, that unit
is given to Player 5, then the Shuttle hovers over it with 7 Options:
- Plasma Beam
- Wave Beam
- Power Beam
- Ice Beam
- Missile
- Bomb
- And the main option Power Beam
When you select:
Bomb, A land mine is placed there, and it will explode in 2 seconds dealing a certain ammount of damage,
Missile will lauch a Scarab from Samus to the target doing some damage (You can earn how much missiles you can hold by finding a Missile Expansion),
Plasma Beam will explode a horde of firebat around it taking away a certain amount of damage (Might change i find a better way),
Wave Beam will create a buncg of observers around Samus and making then move to the enemy, Exploding on contact,
Ice Beam will make a corsair and some observers around it making it immobilized for a certain ammount of time, using a Missile when enemy is frozen will shatter it instantly,
Power beam
is just Normal Attack from Samus Aran.

Cool, idea, but not revolutionary. My friend used this exact same battle system except on a totally different map with diff weapons etc. It used a shuttle, and you moved it over the enemy and unloaded to fire, but the shuttle could go oh so far from your Agent, which had the gun.

I made it so only 1 unit will be targeted, when the unit dies it another is targeted. wink.gif

Interesting... perhaps u could change the units inside the shuttle to allow more abilities. I don't know if that will screw up or not.

That can cause conflict if changing units in shuttle =/

Only con is that it slows the Selected Unit down a little, But that's no biggy wink.gif
I'm having trouble making the Scarab fly at the Selected Unit, When i select "Missile" it works perfectly, but the Scarab flies away somewhere else...
What is the order for controlling the scarab? Set Generic Command Target then Patrol Upper Left Corner or the other way?

VoidArchon(MC), i think samus should be able to target multiple enemies at once because some of her weapons are so powerful and it would get boring if you had a lot of enemies but could only kill them one by one.

BUT there are Cannon Upgrades, when high enough it does do splash damage, etc

I'm making a seperate map for the battle system to see how it would look,
before im 100% sure to add it to my map, but im 90% sure i will add it...

Since i'm making it as best as i can yea it could take along time,
Mp)3 is gracefully helping me on it, with glitches, etc.
i might make the Cannons have better effects and look more realistic happy.gif
Like tricks with observers or making the unit slower with burrowed units, etc.
But alll will be good when done wink.gif

There will be mission, im sure of that, also advanced bosses, spells,

about all the "guns", I don't think you should get all the weapons from the begining, you should like hide them some where or you get it after you complete a particular mission or something. And what about side quests, bonus missions that kinda stuff?
