Alright BSTRhino that sounds good, I will play it right now. By the way, how long did it take you all to make the map? And how did you generate the ideas? What system did you use to dish out the work, sign ups or something?

ADDITION: First off, the map is 256x256, I want to see you do somethign with that space like invisible bunkers, banning section, stack, timer skip, etc. Honestly, this should be called a beta... And it just didn't have enough sounds to reallly get into the map. Give me some reward for playing this...

It's a good map cool1.gif

I played it 2 player over my home LAN with my bro, and it was good... The only problem with the 2P was that an enemy got stuck in an area we didn't control at the moment, so we couldn't finish. cry.gif confused.gif Dunno how he got stuck. Maybe re-issuing the move command would fix that "bug."

And I played it online, and that was ALOT better. Yep, the map is out there, and it is good.

Thanks guys. smile.gif

We started the map on June 16. We started with random ideas thrown out in a chatroom basically and worked off of those.

I think we decided not to have a banning area or stacking. The game really doesn't need a timer skip because when you're done buying some units or upgrading, the timer is almost to zero.

A 2.0 could be made, but it's up to BST if he wants to or we should just continue to work on other projects instead.

You can look at the prodution thread if you want answers to questions I didn't answer.

But you see, according the to logic of people's sheep mentality, it's the one that leaves the biggest impression that gets all the credit. Never the one that actually deserves it.

If you feel offended that will stole your idea, sorry, but we didn't. I mentioned your map in that thread above and no one even knew that there was a map like that, so you can't really blame people for not knowing.

No harm or foul really done, this map is just similar, it isn't as if the actual map was stolen from someone, therefore the time and effort put into both is far enough!

Defence maps, the basic form, are not too difficult to create, the hardest things to create, and no it isn't RPG's, is a New Game Type for Starcraft Online, where things are different, no ideas, solo based on other maps and allow a new style to emerge.
