I have very little software that is payed for. Even the OS im running is pirated, everything except SC , Unreal tournament 04, and various drivers, are ither pirated or freeware.

I had an great idea recently. There is a program called Macro express, basicly you can have it do mouse and keyboard movements and you set it up similer to the trigger system. Anyways you can have it do a scheduled task so my idea was make it so every day it sets the calander back one day.

Thus your computer clock will never go on and all your trial version software will never expire (includeing macroexpress). lol

Actually, thats the system i use Bolt, it instantly resets my timing as the computer loads up, also if you know the right file entries for the Trial Version, you can just remove it, most don't have it that well coded into it.

Yes you can copy OS, and its rather an issue of getting it all to work again rather than getting it.

I was thinking of downloading the OS.

Anyway... let me sum up my views a little clearer:

If you would happily pay for products of reasonable price, but are unable to do so do to outrageous prices, and decide to pirate the products to get back at the evil bureacratic companies, then your plight is noble.

If you never thought to get any of these games and care little of economic insanity, and simply steal products because you can and are able to profit from your deeds, then you are worthless hog  censored.gif  and your damnation is assured and eternal.

Your views on file pirating are quite... blurry. You say it's wrong but then say it's kinda right.

I buy all the games I play more than 1 week. I don't download movies because I'd rather watch them in theathers or a pure quality dvd. I also have some fascination of having the real game cases / dvd cases. However, I probably have 40k worth of software on my computer, 60ish gigs worth. That doesn't include the 45 gigs of mp3z (8500 songs spread across 300 different artists). I don't sell anything. What group does that put me in? The first?

"Your views on file pirating are quite... blurry. You say it's wrong but then say it's kinda right."

Blurry? No, I don't think so.
I don't agree with them, but I can understand them.

He's saying pirating is wrong...
If you wouldn't have paid for it originaly.

He's saying pirating is okay...
If you would be willing to pay for it at a reasonable price, but not at the insane prices, such as $40-$60 now.

And, in my case, if the games costed less and I got more money, I'd buy them...
but for me, I'm amazingly, extremely lucky to get...
$10 in half a year, maybe?

So I just get ROMs of games instead.
It's free, even if not for ROMs I'd never buy the games, and the company already did the work, so I'm not really stealing that.

Omg... $50 is not too much for a good game.
I believe he was referring to adobe photoshop and the such, where it's $800 to get the program and like $150 for upgrades

50 dollars is a lot, they just lead us to believe it isn't. 40 dollars at most is reasonable, that's how much computer games are, and they recieve constant updates and what not. Doom 3 was 60 dollars when it came out and it will no doubt drop to a reasonable price when they figure they can stop scamming people. It probably has dropped already.

"Omg... $50 is not too much for a good game."
Maybe, perhaps, for someone such as yourself.
For me, it would take about 2 YEARS to make that much.
And by that time, the game will be completely outdated and unbuyable, and so I'll have to wait for another $60 for the newest game out that I want.
censored.gif that, I'd rather get them free.
