Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> triggers dont work for music...

lol bolt, you're more patient with general idiocy than I am. tongue.gif

BTW, pause or lag would mess up looping wav timings regardless of whether theyre counter-based or wait-based. No way to fix that issue, I'm afraid (closest thing to solving that would be to divide up the song into tiny bits and play them as a repeating sequence).

Christ, i forgot what an evil sod you were Bolt, i'll keep this in mind for the future, don't post in Assistance when Bolt is around.

I don't see how Bolt is being an 'evil sod'. He's correcting the obvious errors that you have with your triggers. If anything, you should take what he said and learn from your mistakes so you can get a better understanding of how things work.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks all lots...but now,i did what you said, and now something else doesnt work..and its because of this music trigger,ok here:

The bound doesn't work with the music playing and thats  censored.gif ing very enoying, ive had it on another bound and it was never to be fixed.

please say why this happens. Thanks again.

Each player can only run one wait at any given moment. Bound obsticals have waits almost constantly running. Music loops have waits constantly running, and hyper triggers have waits constantly running. If you want all 3 in the same map you need at least at least 2 computers (hypers or music loop can be owned by each human player) Otherwise you will need to make a counter to keep track of your music loop's time.

LOL an evil sod. I don't even know what that is. . . guess thats me. Sorry i like being overly technical and correcting all the minor things.
You know what is really fun, once a guy at some forum asked for critizims on his map. I wouldn't have even played it normaly but since he invited negitive feed back i had quite some fun writing alot of negitive stuff about his map. Of course it was in the suggestive manor not "omg your map sucks". Opps i'm off topic.

Lesson to be learned, if you want your map critizised by me be prepaired to get a truck load.
