I protect my maps with HexKing.

Melee is about getting balance, and takes ages for Pro maps, unless its Fastest then its a few hours.

Haha, it means using parts of Hex to mess around with what Pro Edit protects of the map to improve it.

Personally, I use StarCraft Xtra Editor 2.6 Special Mode. Yes, JUST Special mode. I can see how the other editors have all these great features and such but I grew up with StarEdit's interface. I'm half n00b. wacko.gif

Special Mode is the most different of them all, though i use it because i like doing some triggers in X-tra Editor and it has best placement options.

I personally like Starforge's snap-to-grid option.

I use extra for alot of my terrain, and i use starforge 2.2 for my triggering.

SCMDraft 2 "Snap-To-Grid" is more user friendly, but you can input the amounts into SF.

I use SF 2.2 for everything. Sometimes I'm too lazy to comment the triggers so I use X-tra 2.5
ProEdit and uBeR@Te for protection.
I don't really make maps any more so...
