Actually that would be cool. If when you upgraded the units attacks etc, it actually changed how the unit read during the game. That would be cool.

Exactly, then Zerg reach out to other planets looking for things to assimilate into the swarm.. they soon stumble upon the Terrans in which the Protoss are also watching over... Zerg now move to assimilate Terran beings, but the Protoss interferes with operations and the Zerg are bound to challenge the Protoss...
Anyways... In SC2, there should be like Equip Weapons and such, and whenever a vehicle dies... it creates a civilian with a pistol that deals at least 5 damage...

That game kicked ass. Except the Mammoth Tanks were unstoppable on land, and Cruisers dominated the sea. Kinda cheesey. :/
And then you get into messing with the .ini files, and you can have lots of fun. Its actually possible to make noticeably different campaigns with red alert. You can make heroes etc. Its just a pain to do...
Yeah, twas a great game.. but with StarCraft it will be cheesy... with STYLE!!!!

-Better Map Editor, but still as easy as it is now

-It to come out before im old and don't play games anymore
I dought the game will come for at least a good few year's.
But what i would like to see:
-New units for each race
-a new race lead by duran himself
-a editer much better than the oine there is now
-Unit editing, Like in wc3

I think this might have already been posted, but i couldn't find it. I want them to be able to change the building names in the Basic/Special Buildings Menu, in game, like Command Center, it is always the same. I want to be able to change the Weapon Names, and the Unit Rank. :UBEREVIL:
You can do that with a custom patch. It's all in the MPQ file under rez/stat_txt.tbl . But, the fact that its a custom patch places restrictions you should already know about, so you probably shouldn't bother.

PS: mike, that spell check is in a bad place, i click it every time i try to post my messages.
You can have those alliance setups. You just have to have the players configure them manually or use triggers for a UMS.
And booting for melee would be stupid. People will just boot as they're about to lose.

This has been done by me. I have some minor editing of the default name in my patch (mod/General Staredit)

- allow the use of several types of sound files OTHER than wave (mp3, midi, etc.)
- I really don't care about races...
- Keep the graphics a hybrid of the dark, edgy sc style and the cartoony wc3 style
- Allow terrain to be SQUARE instead of crappy diagonal
- DO NOT MAKE THE EDITOR AS COMPLICATING AS THE WARCRAP 3 EDITOR, INSTEAD, ADD 2 MODES, beginner and advanced.
I want to be able to select much, much, MUCH more than a maximum of 12 units. Maybe 30 , or 40+, it would make the game much easier, especially with Zerg!

it's called Isometric, not "diaganol".
If you mean "to place square tiles lined up with the grid", please state so more clearly. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I have a problem understanding what people are trying to say when they use funky ass grammar.

-for the terrain to stay isometric IF the grid is lined up with it, the units' space requirements are diamonds instead of rectangles, and locations are lined up with grid.
