Really?  Hmm... I somewhat doubt this.  Also, didn't blizzard drop their little relationship with sa studios and started just doing the game themselves?  I heard somewhere the game was turning out to be just a regular shoot em up so they said screw it and started revamping the game.

They originally were working Nihilistic, but around this June of this year they were no longer a part of the development on Starcraft: Ghost. Couple weeks after Nihilistic left, Blizzard got another developer, Swingin' Ape Studios. I haven't heard anything about Swingin' Ape being dropped, so they are probably still working on it.

All games die moron cause of bad marketing and stupid company it will die maybe not i 20 years but some day it will.

Are you censored.gif ing kidding me?! Lmao! A game 20 years old doesnt die...it retires. I can't believe you are even trying to come to me with that censored.gif . A game 'Dieing' would be something that never really got popular and was only played by a small number of people.

No a gmae dieing is like SC it get big then it slowly loses people wiht age when it started so many people were on b.net but now there is really a smaller amount it wont retire it will get smaller 20 years form now so small that blizzard might shut the servers down thus killing it.

Isolated is right, as I said in some other topic, Blizzard is definetly making StarCraft II unless they make some other new series. And even then, it's pretty obvious they are making StarCraft II.

I can't agree with you reever. And I definatly don't agree that they would ever shut down SC servers. That would be like screwing over all the people who bought the game.

No, because people will rush to SC2 the moment it comes out.
In fact, they could do that...
Shut down the SC servers 20 hours before the first store with SC2 opens, this way, people are left with no choice except either rot in their damp cold SCless cells or get SC2 ASAP.

Not that they wil or that it would be smart for them to, just something I happened to think of.

Yeah that would be an awesome marketing strategy I guess, but SC2 is going to sell like hotcakes nonetheless. But if they did that they would piss SO many people off. I wonder if people would boycott and not buy SC2? Rofl. Thatd be super funny.

If SC 2 was annoumched and they let you preorder it now it would pwn any other pre-order record.

Agreed. But halo2 was pretty big eh? Didnt it top 100million in sales on first day or sumtin like that? A lot of those were probably pre orders.
