I wish I knew about this kind of thing, but I don't. Do not take what I say seriously, although it is my view.

My advice is not to get into relationships, and take a cynical view of any relationship that you do find yourself in. If your expectations are low, then you're more likely to be pleasantly surprised.

Believe me - the divorce rate nowadays is sky-high because people have high expectations. Set them low in relationships but imagine that the other half has them set high.

No, scrap that - if she's your best friend then I would advise you to maybe go out with her casually as 'slightly more than just friends.' Just make it clear to her that as you're best friends, you think that your relationship shouldn't be too serious, as serious relationships lead to serious break-ups.

Don't go dating her, I am pretty much an expert in this and I will say it, don't go dating her.

A friend is more valuable than a lover. Woman friends are better than man friends, not becasue I like women but because they are the missing part of a man. They will help you with almsot anything and you can always count on them that you will have a good time with them and it's much easier to talk about girl problems to her than a man.

If you date her, yeah it might go good but it also migth go bad, depends on how you play the cards. In the long run if the both of you break up neither of you will likely be friends mainly because the both of you will think that if you continue the friendship after breaking up the same thing will happen. Also she is like your best Friend from way back and dating her would be wierd.
