More flaws I found,
-H.Q. is supposed to have "3" lives.
-later in the game this is Heckfully unbalanced.
-Metal marines are too frequent and strong.
-You cant change the gun arm .
-You need some Metal Marine music.
-The enemy doesn't constantly send you funny threatening messages.
-You didn't make energy plants.
-Add the whole story of the game to the beggining.
-What about the landmines?

Thanks for the input, although most your points are sorta relating the SNES. The HQ did have 3 lives, but was later changed to two to cut game time down. Thanks for the error however.
Unbalanced you'll have to elaborate on since the people are equal. If you mean the massive damage, this is also to cut game time down, and give lots of incentive to "teching". MM are easily killed by ground turrets, but I agree they are quite strong. I have brought this up with khaos before and he doesn't agree.
As for the next four points, the point of the map was to have fun, and not especially emulate the old SNES game because quite frankly, it wasnt that great of a game. As for landminds, I dunno. I don't mind them not being in game, but meh. Perhaps in v1.2
