And I do have a job at 16 ($7.50 an hour biotches. =) which I could easily make $250 or $300 a week if I dropped out of school- I think that covers an apartment+food for 1. Anyway yes they said it was because I was not trying hard enough in school specifically. I don't do any drugs or drink or go to wild parties or  like that. Any time at home is spent on my computer or asleep simply because my parents bore the living hell out of me.

7.50 is like... Less than minimum wage.... monthly fee for an APARTMENT, the cheapest one in the world, is around 800 $ in the U.S. You also have to buy food, buy furniture, other thing. you would never make it at this point in your life so try not to get kicked out. wink.gif
Unless of course you like sleeping with cockroaches and 3 pieces of bread a day.

Ps: you also wont be able to pay up the internet costs, so if you drop out, no computer forever. happy.gif

I find it funny to know how big your world is. ermm.gif

Anyway, $800 is a bit much for a censored.gif ty apartment in the slums. and i meant $250-300 a week so my fault. Still, that is plenty of money to hold myself up and live. Will suffer if I want to get kids/wife/any kind of luxury not needed for living, but I could be self-supportive at my age... provided 16 year olds are allowed to get an apartment? Dunno. Anyway thats not an option cause i got my computer back. =) tongue.gif

EDIT: I had said earlier $250-300 a week so screw you and read better. happy.gif

wrong, i could get an one room with all untilities for $500. probally find one for $450 farther away.

i think that as kids we'll never be satisfied with what our parents do. I fight with my parents all the time, but i know that all they want is the best for me. They may make mistakes and push too hard, but i know they love me. It just sounds like your parents are thinking of your future too much, and forgeting that this is when were going to be the most free and careless. And seriously, most things taught in public school is only a little above common sense.

SATs are a joke i swear, anyone with any sort of sense should score over 1200.

Pffft... censored.gif school. censored.gif SAT's. censored.gif college. College is for censored.gif es who want to work too hard. My plan in life is to get a steady, alright paying job, that isn't too hard and get a nice apartment, don't get married, party every weekend, and just live like that until I die. Or else just join the Army or Marines and just get good at that forever.

Setting high goals for myself.

And I suppose your dad, who makes 100k+ a year, who also is only a computer security analist but is also somewhat of a manager, is going to pay for your college, eh? And buddy, jobs that require you to go to college require you to work hard for them. You can't just fly through those jobs.

about the c++ programing class....i took one last year at my high school...before i switched...it was informative and outragousouly easy--it was very basic, and i forgot most of it. still remember how to coutn in binary, but cant add/subtract/mult/divide--used to be able to do all that. anyways, go for it. i'd say take it, if just expirence. however, dont expect to be making great programs--all my programs were simple.
think about it.

Hey I think there's a room for rent next door. Ya pretty sure, something like $450 a month. Course you'll have to live w/ 3 outrageous chicks who party nonstop with all their other girlfriends, oh and then there's that damn ocean keeping you up at night.

Parents! Don't sweat it bro or you'll end up just like them.

You need to rethink your life, 7.50 a hour sucks ass. And your not going to be getting 300 dollars a week working 40 hours, Hello TAXES. And thats only assumeing they allow you to work 33-40 hours a week. I'm make 8.60 a hour and my job sucks, I can't wait to actually get a good job. Life is not about computers there are things in this world that are so much better. How could you stand working 40 hours a week just so you can afford to sit at your computer for the rest of the time?
Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm a computer geek too and I have been known to spent way too much time at my computer. (heck last saturday i didn't leave the room except to take a piss and shower). But this is not a life anyone should want to live, your parents see this and are trying to do the best thing for you. Just the fact that you consider moving out so you can have more computer time is pathedic. You should be gratefull that your parents care enouth for your to take it away in the first place.

PS. To everyone argueing about apartment prices. Property values vary alot depending on geographical location. In Califorinia a home cost 10 times what it does where I live in Missouri.

Edit: I don't know why this tripped my switch, I should be gratefull for all the idiots who make me look smart. They will always be there to check me out at wall-mart and flip my burgers at Burger King. Thank you for the retards, if we were all smart I might have to live the censored.gif ty live they do.

I like my parents and I don't have trouble in school, people who don't like their parents should think about what they want their life to become.
