What really pisses me off is when your in a class where you obviously know more then the teacher teaching it (IE: Computers). They tend to get really pissed off when you do stuff better then they can.

I have to 100% agree with invested-jerk and everyone else who said anything similar.
In my school, even those honor extra-smart classes (in which im in) has an idiot or two. But what is as bad or worse, is the fact that even smart and 'strong' people can call you a nerd,geek, etc,etc etc. Those are more dangerous then just 'strong'

Things I like about school:
1. Watching fights (You get suspended for a while unless you convince the people that it wasn't that serious)
2. Being in advanced Math
3. PE
4. Playing cards
5. Drama
6. Watching students be immature and slow down the class and all that except when it's not funny and they usually get kicked out
7. Foods

Things I don't like about school:
1. Getting up
2. Having to put my bike helmet in my backpack otherwise stupid people like to knock on it or bump into it
3. That I learn more useful things in English in grade 7 than grade 8 and 9 together
4. How crowded the sidewalk is when I go that way after school
5. My paranoid y Socials teacher which I don't think I'll have again
6. Doing homework

i hate school since i don do my homework and since i don do my homework good i get a avg of c or b ;\ and when its like that i get i ntrouble at home. which is not fun

Yep. That Annoys bad. Sadly, i dont have computer class, but i bet i know more math then the teacher

the main problem with skool is the people to me, there are some a$$holes in skool and fu(king piss me offffffff but oter than that, im an a & b student so...

True dat! For me, the teacher will act like im stupid, but i can tell theyre just fustrated by my awesomeness of knowingness at the computer.

I hope highschool will be different but... I hated grade school because I always knew more about the teacher teaching the subject... And they knew it, every question on me, stuff like that, but then again I got into lots of arguments with them... and always won.

School for me kicks ass. I just sit around, hang out with friends all day, and draw my stick figure comics half the damn time. Almost all my classes are easy as hell. And most of my teachers are pimps. What I'm just trying to say is....

Too be honest, I'm taking a relatively easy course load--Three of my classes almost go exactly hand in hand: World Lit, Comparative World Religons and Mythology. So If I show up for one I have a basic understanding of all three, especially since in the first two we're exploring hinduisim and its effect on literature. Then I'm taking three design classes- Graphic Design, Web Page Design and Stagecraft, so those are pretty easy. The concepts are simliar. Then there's the standard band classes: top jazz and concert bands. Then there's Econ, which is okay, I guess. I'm not really into that section of learning.

The part of school I hate is this whole application process. Screw college! I'm going to stay home all my life

Okay...maybe not...but it seriously bites. I hate looking at the applications, the damn essays look like trick questions...I want my mommy.

What's so bad about homework? If you did what you were supposed to do in school you wouldn't have any.

YES it does i mean i am not slow i get the subjects they are teaching.

Until you are perfect, homework is never a waste of time. I think the word you're looking for is boring. Or tedious.

Dont know where your from, but my teachers give us homework as homework... I mean, they dont JUST give us unifinished school work as homework.

My problem with school is having to show work/rewrite questions. You teach the class, I see no reason why I should have to rewrite the problems/questions. Its just tedious work, slowing me down, and not doing anything for my intelectuallity.


Wow. You so totally do NOT need school! Especially if your parents are urine. And I bet I get up earlier than you, so don't complain.

I just wish that there was more learning, and less busywork.

In AP US History, I have to take notes, which distracts me from what he's saying, and I never go over them. Its just a waste of time. -.-

I never studied at home at all. I'm in the highest level classes (except maybe AP Physics, Honors right now, but I had to get a waiver signed to get in) possible, and I got there by not studying!

High school is so fricking long. I crave the end of the day and just to rest. Every minute seems like an eternity. Luckily, I have lockers near my friends and we basically talk and do stuff alot while we're not in class. I don't hate it.

Me too. Its really affecting my thought process now. I am becoming very careless and lazy. I'd nap now, but then it would mess up my sleep schedule.

Yea, the whole schedule is pretty lame. So much work not enough time. You have to get up at like 6, and school ends at like 2:30, then if you do a sport or club you can be staying at school to like 5 - 5:30, and in the case of doing a sport it can be every day with either practice or games. Then once you get home it may be 6. And then the hours just seem to really fly by and I don't get to really relax and do what I want to do before starting a whole mess of homework.
