Yep, it was pretty clever, actually.
I don't think it was clever. It was just sarcasm. It was pretty obvious.
what if someone has 1 arm... (

) lol it looks ok, but it really just looks like a remote...

Next time try putting some tone into what you say.

It's easy to say something is sarcastic when it isn't. My only issue with the Revolution Controller is how tiring it is after using after an hour or so. One would think it would it be tiring to move your arm around constantly to do everything. But I suppose we'll have to wait. And when you have 4 players swinging their arms, it might get cramped.

Tone... it had plenty of tone. Why don't you use your brain next time?
Even after this thought of yours you should have understood:

And how does one obtain a Revolution Controller in such an early stage of it's unveiling?
Don't tell me I lack tone.
It was blatantly obvious Devilesk was being sarcastic.

It was said by someone who's acutally touched the controller said they started off swining in around like most idiots would for a few minutes but got tired and relaxed it on his lap, but he could play the same, it was very responsive and not hard to move what was on screen. It's not like holding up a 20 pound pole and swinging it around for hours. It's like moving a mouse.
I think there are really two sides to the revolution:
Bad specs, comparitively.
Less buttons on the controller.
Bad for ports.
The good sides:
Very revolutionary controller design, I can imagine playing a fighting game with this, or an FPS, almost all types of games benefit. The plug-ins can add buttons and functionality to the already amazing controller.
It's cheap.
Comes in several colors, including a very sexy black.
I honestly dont see much of an arguement agains the Rev. If I want power gaming,
I turn on my computer. The Rev. contoller adds such a great levle of realism to games. Imagine, instead of pressing left X+Y A->Y right up B down, swinging your controller, stabbing it, slashing, whirling. Imagin aiming, lightgun style, with it, while your other hand maneuvers the stick. Imagine playing starcraft with that controller, using it to select your units with the A and B buttons.QUOTE(devilesk-A-dur @ Sep 23 2005, 04:27 PM)
No, Yoshi wouldn't make such an unsupported statement like that. I bet he's tried it out thoroughly and had a thoughtful insight about whether it's good or not.

Actually this quote alone had no sarcasm in it. But by looking at the posts previous to it i saw the sarcasm. When i made that post i was responding directly to your post. There was another reason at the time I just cant remember it now.
I'm sure it would have made more sense if I was sincere rather than sarcastic when making that post, so that you could make this post:

It isnt there to be tried out thouroughly and thats another 1 line of spam. And im pretty damn sure he did make an unsupported statement like that. Because so far The revolution looks like the coolest to have. The Xbox360 is pretty good & i dont know much about PS3. One thing I do know is that if they make a PS4 I will kill all of the Sony execs that thought to continue on the PS# line. PS:Unlimited or something of the sort would be fine though.
Don't assume I'm an idiot and I'm always wrong.
BTW, those were my first opinion. I'm not always right. But that thing looks like it'll seriously break.
Nah, I've dropped my remote dozens of times and it works fine.

Ya me too, most of the time when I drop it, the batteries even come out!
This sounds very gay, but my opinion may be changed.

Did your original NES controller ever break on you? I don't see how you could be worried ...
Anyway, everyone, just imagine the possibilities and take a look at all the DS games (there are tons of little mini-games that you can use the touchpad for). Nintendo has always been revolutionary with their products and I don't think it will stop here. What I'm worried about is them losing to Sony or Microsoft because of it.
I think purchasing all of the addons may be a turn off, but then again so are games that cost $70-$80. I'm actually excited about this, because now controllers will be much more suited to various game types. However, for FPS there will never be a better combo then keyboard + mouse. At least any game that requires precision. Unless Nintendo can design a light gun addon that works with the d-pad and whatnot... that would be pretty neat. Of course you'll have people that will go, "Omfg! I have to put forth a minimal amount of physical exertion now! This is teh lame!"
We've only seen 1 add on, they said there would be more, but not like 500 more and you could easily pick out the useless ones made for a single game like Kongos in Donkey Kongo. Did ANYONE buy those?

That's what I thought when I saw the Ipod Nano, but it's stable.
I'd like to see a killer FPS game for the Rev. Since Metroid Prime was handled with precision, it could mean a whole world of change for FPS games. It might even rival keyboard and mouse.
