I think Gamestop still sells used Dreamcasts. I might get one and try it out someday when I have enough money.

The oringal idea for Dreamcast was to realease it EVEN earlier. It's compeition was ment to be the N64 and Ps1, however the new consles were annouced and the upperhand the Dreamcast once had faded away and died out.

Because they know a lot of people won't wait for the price to lower, which makes them make more money. Plus it's not like it costs 20 bucks to make an Xbox360, it's expensive, and for each Xbox sold (Xbox 1, I don't know about 360) they lose around $100 dollars, same with Playstation 2. The reason why everyone thinks Gamecube is dead when it's not is because for all the consles sold it made money on each one, unlike Sony and Microsoft. But it's not like they have to worry about that anyway.

I think I was going to say something else, meh.

It's the best controller out there.
It fits your hand the best at least.

Yeah because you have used the ps3 controller and the 360 so you can make your own judgement? shh thats like saying a movie sucks/is awesome before you even see it.

Or, the controllers have been shown to the public, and I have read about them?
And for the xBox 360, I HAVE HELD ONE OF THEIR CONTROLLERS?!?!??!

That was all true but it isn't looking at the bad side of the 360. It wasn't prepared to be sold across the world (just like dreamcast 2.0), ea was not a HUGE supporter of xbox 360, they rather support ps3, some are defunctional, they overheat repeatedly fast, they have a horrible online system currently, and it has a couple of bugs.

The difference between the Xbox 360 Controller and the Xbox Controller S is that the Xbox 360 doesn't use the black and white buttons, they use those buttons from Playstation 2 on top of the triggers. And the Xbox 360 Controller is smaller than the Xbox Controller S.

Many systems have bugs and recalls upon first being released to the public. Xbox 360 was no different.

Yeah so have I. There have been many promotional events for previewing the xbox 360. The one I went to had it set up to a projector screen. And you had your choice to play Madded 2006 or Need For Speed Underground Most Wanted.

I smell fanboy smile.gif

Most of those coincidences aren't really that odd though. Both systems went from black to white....not that unusual. Both systems come with a method of online play...well, shucks, you never see that these days. And someone please explain to me how the dreamcast was "sleek" tongue.gif And others weren't even real connections....at the debut, there was a rich, bald guy? I suppose if you look hard enough you can find a connection in just about anything.

Interesting, but definitely a coincidence.

I'm sure they are all coincidences. Just funny to think about how little people change.

Pfft, I've seen a lot of fanboys of playstation 2 over at Metreon Theater (San Francisco's Best Movie Theater) and I think that they are the company part of Sony.

Uh, EA is fully behind Microsoft, as of right now. The problem with the world wide launch is that they didn't realize what idiots they were being. Did they really think that the xbox which sold something like 90,000 units in the last years (Compared to Gcube and Ps2 which had like 250,000) would be any better with a NEW consle (This is Japan btw). I don't understand it, if you want a 360 head on down to Japan and buy one, that's the only place you can find them now.

And last I recall I remeber the Ps2 having a shizLOAD of problems with it, discs, disc reading error, it scrathing your discs, etc. There's even a case (I forget it exactly) that might get all the Ps2s recalled due to some problems in it. In my eyes the Ps3 looks like it has the word "Bugs" all over it.

I have an off-topic question...

Did Gamecube have any problems when it was released?

No. Unless if you count them having more units then they do buyers.

Haha thats actually a very big problem.

The first point the site makes is that its predessor sucked. Which it did, bad. The only thing Sega was good for was introducing Sonic the Hedgehog. Other than that it was a useless machine you played Aladdin on.

Sega (Genesis) had Alladin. I know, because I had it biggrin.gif

I hated that damn game. Couldn't get past the freaking lava/volcano thing.

I like how this has become a Ps3 vs XBOX360 thread. It's almost inevitable though.

Aladdin was a great game. I'm pretty sure I beat it. At least I hope so or else I cannot die a happy person.
