What is it with people that think they know how a weapon that they've never used will affect a game they've never played? Bungie has been making awesome games since you (all of us) were in diapers. They're not about to make some horrible mistake now. You just gotta have some faith.

Well...I wouldn't be too sure. It's not like they haven't made mistakes before, there was some tuff in Halo 1 and Halo 2 that was underpowered. And of course, the more confident they get, the less likely they are to notice a fatal mistake- sort of like with Blizzard and WarCraft III.

HL2's Gravity Gun and Portal's Portal Gun of course.
Prod, Holy Hand Grenade and the Priceless Ming Vase from the Worms series.
Thor's Hammer (Outpost 2) and the "Duke" Artillery Emplacement are probably my favorite RTS heavy weapons.
Wabbajack in the TES series was always pretty cool, and while we're talking about TES, I love the Fork of Horripulation. Because nothing says "owned" like beating your enemies to death with a fork.

Those lil aliens from half life were cool...After beating parts of Resident Evil 4 you can play as Krauser and have this huge blade of bone and flesh pop out of your arm...killing zombies couldn't be better.

I mean c'mon, what other gun in the world of gaming can let you shoot portals in walls and let you walk through them! From the trailers I've seen its pretty much like the HL2 gravity gun since you can pick stuff up and toss 'em.
