I like 3d environments better then 2d environments because of the exploration factor in the game. The 2d games are usually pretty linear.

2D no contest. The older games were the best, Chrono Trigger, Kirby, FF3, FF4, FF5, They all owned. Don't get me wrong 3d is awesome but i just gotta go with the old, they just bring back so many memories

3D games are more better then the 2D games, but it's nice to play a classic game once in a while.

i actually like both combined like in that game paper mario 2D characters in a 3D world very inovative and as some said i like both games but when it comes down to the bone i HAVE to side with the 3D games, they look so realistic and only about to get better

I said 2d cause am a fan of the classics. But I like the idea of 3d becuase of the exploriation part on how it seems you can explore more places.

yea thats wat won 3D for me, because its not only a sliding screen but an entire world out there and u can explore all of it thats inside the invisible walls barrier! (LOL) stupid invisible walls *shakes fist at them but doesnt kno where they are so is confused*
