What do you like better 2D or 3D i like 2D games but 3D classic games are fun too like Doom1

i like 3d because the old doom game was good and almost all games are 3d.. atleast most of them but if you like 2d games a good 1 is coming out soon where your an alien who bites peoples heads off its called Alien Hominid

Newgrounds made that alirn thingy game but looks liike crap..

I don't care, I think its how fun it is, not 3d or 2d.

no they're remaking it for gamecube new stuff better graphics n such newgrounds isnt making it some company is i dont know which 1 it is tho but it dont look that bad

Looks like Megaman: Power Fighters oh i love that game its a classic 2D game i love but that werid alien game looks longer

Im pretty sure they did make it longer then comp version but all i know is it was all changed and stuff it even has vs smashbros style if wanna know more go to gamespot and search alien hominid

This is pretty much stupid.
2D - Less graphics, less resources
3D - More graphics, more resources

Anyone with enough resources for 3d will say 3d.
People without much resources will go for 2d because of performance issues.

2d is more fun than 3d. 'Nuf said.

2d can some times have better graphics then 3d look at thoses classic games like metriod which beats out 3d doom see 2d is better tio me

Aw man how come you didn't put both in the choices. Man so hard to choose. The old school games many were 2D. I haven't played many for a while...

Alien Hominid is pretty much being made by Newgrounds(I know this for sure). The people who made the flash are doing most of the work (I think).

Graphics don't mean much to me. As long as the game is fun, and has different variations instead of something overly repetitive.

Go 3D only if the game is significantly better that way. Otherwise, 2D will suffice.

creating models with 3d is sooooo much better, because u only need 1 model for every single camera angel. with 2d like sc u need sprites and u gotta make a new one for EACH view possible

2D is for rts nothing else.. a 3D rts would be bad

u havent played C&C generals yet or WC3. 3d rts is awesome because u only need 1 model for everything. thats ALOT less work then creating at least 4 different views for 1 unit.

i played war3 before its a kick ass game it feels like a Action RPG

War 3 is horrible, I hate it.

I like 3D better because everything looks a bit more realistic. I just don't like the crappy 3D games with bad graphics

Yes, 3-d is better, and it allows realism(in SC, because it's 2-d, you can't hide behind cliffs unless you're 'below' them...)... BUT...
it allows more with terrain.
I mean, look at SC.
Because it's 2-d, we can take what terrain tiles there are, and use Starforge to create "custom" terrain, and even impossible terrain that looks like somehting M.C. Escher thought of.

My thoughts is, dont matter if 2D or 3D long the gameplay is good. Because game could have mad ass gfx's and have ty gameplay thats nogood. Look at sc its 2d has good gameplay and lots of users. While Wc3 3D has kinda ok gameplay and alot users. so meh. I guess you have say 2D and 3D both good.

2D. SNES all the way! Though there are some terrific 3D RPGs out there, like Grandia, Grandia II, FFVII, etc.

IMO, it really does revolve around the "quality" pf the game.
