Well I will have a type of 'Mana' in a sense but not the normal way it is used. Most of the special abilities won't even need the use of mana for example:

Seth's Airstrike: You can only use this in certain area's so mana will NOT be needed for this special attack.

Sarah's Medicine Making: You already have to find the ingredents, so no mana will be required.

Darren's Hacking Computers: again can only be used in certain areas, no mana needed.

Cid's C4: happy.gif Same as Darren

Mark's Defense Position Call: happy.gif Same as Cid

But there are other that will require a type of 'mana' but this will mainly be a simple counting from 1 mineral to 10 once it gets to 10 you can use it again. Otherwise no form of magic or mana will be used.

I see. That's probably the best way; keeping it simple because the map is already pretty complicated. Oh and btw, that healing system is really nice =D

I like how all the characters have their own personalities and specialties. That opens up a lot of possibilities for the gameplay and the story. Good work, keep it up.

Ya, I like that aspect as well. If you don't make mana restrictions with some of the computer abilities, then what will keep them from being abused?

Looks real good happy.gif. One thing that I would like to comment on is that I like the way you did the supply depots in a row, and then you used that doodad for the ''blown up'' effect. Very good idea, it shows that you are a versatile thinker.

I remember Yoshi talking about an interesting feature, if you tell a computer to go Junk Yard then quickly give him to Player 12 all units under it will rush for the edges of the map, maybe you can do that quickly, and give them back, and do a dispersing idea.

Not sure how that would work...But the way freelance mode works is it send the units into junkyard mode and their are a few locations around the area, if the unit goes into that location it moves somewhere else or does something different. (sometimes something that can solve puzzles, or give u hints about what to do next)

You've got to basically get a trigger to disperse normaly, which also gives to Player 12 straight away, and then straight give back a few second later using a Death Count waiting block.

Coko the only thing about that that wouldn't work is the fact that when a unit is given to another player, you lose hotkeys and such with it.

Ok I have added the following features to the map:

-Limited Inventory Space (6 Items Per Inventory)

-Special Safehouses around the map, where you can store your items.

-Breifings are finished.

-A few characters Specials are Finished.

The game is now 36% complete smile.gif

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know I want this map to be as good as possiable anything u think makes it less fun, tell me and I will consider deleting it, any suggestions you might have to make the map more interesting and fun let me know and I will consider that also.

Mabe have it 5 or 4 items you can carry... That will amek you think abotu whats more valuable and whats not...

I think the safehouses that you can store your items are a good idea.

PS: Could you mabe sell you items as well?

Ok but really tho...the real map will be released on the 27th of novemenber during map night smile.gif Another trailer will be release not made by me but a person better at making trailers than I am, I of course will help him some but I still have much work to do on the real map before the 27th smile.gif The trailer coming out will just be for publicity and for a glimpse of the map.

I think that if you have to HIRE other people to do parts of your map, you're not trying hard enough. You aren't even ATTEMPTING to learn how to map make, you are hiring other people to do it. This is what I hate most about SEN and certain.. clans. You aren't even trying to become good map makers and you aren't really learning anything. People on SEN don't even MAKE maps, you guys just TALK about making maps. You never finish any of these maps that are in the showcase, with a few rare exceptions, namely by Moose. Though he doesn't even finish his either. You guys don't make maps. You don't even try to learn. You ask stupid questions without even using the tutorials database. You ask things that could easily be resolved by using StarEdit help. In short you aren't commited to learning how to map make at all and you're wasting our time and your own.

Ahem.. Bolt_Head is teaching me some triggering techniques and I just made a map to release on Christmas..

Wow you should calm down salacious. You're getting worked up over a game...LAF. Anywho maybe shinra is rushing to get the map out and a friend 'offered' to make a trailer for him because he or she thought that shinra's trailer did not show of what the map had to offer. You don't know that shinra CAN'T make a good trailer. Wasn't your post off topic anyway...?
