ERROR: MemCalc is not yet configured to handle spliced values.

'Spliced value' means this
player3(i.e.) player4(i.e)
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

so you may do it manually through advanced mode. Try changing those two bytes at the same time(with two setdeaths triggers).

Now for the real question we were all wondering...
Why doesn't this work on macs?
It doesn't crash or anything, the triggers just don't run. huh.gif

Well what I think blizzard may do, is release a patch so mac users can use the triggers. Instead of eliminating it in all. They want people to play sc why would they get rid of the newest/coolest thing.

Now someone help me, anyone that has SF and can use these techs, please contact me on aim or something.

How exactly does the trigger not run?

Do triggers not containing extended triggers run? If I had a trigger which contained normal actions/conditions but with one extended death trigger would it not run?

If it works that way then you could have like a switch that is set within an extended trigger, that if it doesn't get set the game ends in defeat biggrin.gif Mac proof smile.gif

when downloaded data.zip, did u copy those 2 files and paste them into the data folder to overwrite the 2 files already there? I know it may seem obvious, but gotta make sure everything is right =/...

If Blizzard was that nice, they'd make Starcraft 2.

Also, I took the ~35,000 hits the spammer gave MemCalc so the counter is accurate again.

I know this is spam (sorta)... but there isn't anymore "useful" information on this thread (I guess it really depends on the person though, eg question person). Please, will someone break up the topic into:
1. Questions
2. News/Updates
I keep coming here only to find 3 pages of questions.

Now, this is super hypicritical... But since there is still only one topic for this...
00 02 00 00 would equal 512?
01 01 00 00 would equal 257?
02 02 00 00 would equal 514?
00 00 01 00 would equal 65536?
(The middle two are just for clarification. I think I would be doing everything wrong if I didn't have these right... tongue.gif )

100 = 256 = 00 01 00 00
101 = 257 = 01 01 00 00
202 = 514 = 02 02 00 00
10000 = 65356 = 00 00 01 00
Yes you would happen to be right, its easy to figure out tho add a 0 to the end and reverse it. smile.gif

Too bad I found this topic so late - I could actually do some research myself - a time ago we tried with friend, using a trainer creation tool, to do some weird stuff in SC memory; but it was when I didn't know much about SC modding, and never heard of IE. Arsenal, or MPQ Tools.

I am somehow suprised, that this kind of triggers is possible. I do some programming, and first thing what I'd do after removing basic code for players 28-256, would be to add asserts everywhere, and output mad things to log if somebody would try to mess with that.

But, as I know read about many so called "bugs" in SC, some of them I tested personally, I believe that most of those things were done not by accident. Maybe memory mapping triggers not, but all most of those "glitches" we used before.

What can I say.. thank you for that.
I'll beter go and start doing some development wink.gif and maybe some small console utilities.

BTW, any has of You tried to mess up with SC memory using WinAPI functions like ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory ? [I haven't tried so I don't know if those names are 100% correct].
