Oh, one last thing wink.gif
I remember a StarGraft tutorial, in which you could make a button, that changes unit (ie. BattleCruiser) color. [I tried to do this with MemGraft patching, but my button instead of changing color was just crashing SC wink.gif] So, I guess that color information of a specific unit is in the same address space that other unit stats are, so it also can be probed/modified. I'll try to look deeper into that.

Edit:
Ninebreaker123, it's not funny!
I'm off for two weeks, and guess how many pages I'll have to read wink.gif

Mp, what we are doing is finding hidden values in the starcraft memory, and changing them using triggers that can be put into SF ( Not for me cause SF is gay).

What this enables is;
Units with sheilds
Detecting Upgrades
Changing Units Attacks
Changing Units Avatars and much much more...

As of now the only way to obtain these values would have to be the memory calculator. http://homework.f2o.org/memcalc.py

It writes the SF trigger for you, go to page 3 to download the update.

You cannot edit Iscript or .TBL files with this, they are too far out of its range. To change unit wireframes, change unit id. Good luck finding out which unit on the map it is though. Color for an individual unit may be changed, and I know exactly where it is, but it is very hard to figure out the order that the sprites fill up in. So, I have no idea what sprite the change will take place on.

Use Units.dat, Graphic. Remeber, the number you change it to is a Flingy.dat number. The change is only applied to new unit that are created after the trigger fires.

hey hey, nice work on the MemCalc 4.0 beta biggrin.gif

quick question, is there no way to edit the speed of a unit? or am I just missing something? =/

as well, what kind of values does the "Maximum Range" of a weapon look for?

1. Ground unit speed is in the move animation iscript. Air unit speed is in its flingy.dat file.

2. Max range is a 1-byte value representing range in tiles.

The ghost's sprite # in the flingy editor is 229. When I use this trigger to change kerrigan's graphic: SetDeaths(P6, SetTo, 229, -29577); - it makes her sprite that of a scourge. Do I need to put the number in a different form?

Also Kerrigan's sprite # is 234, so I thought maybe I could -5... but hat turns her into a dropship. But... shouldn't it be a scourge? As 234 - 5 = 229, and when I set it to 229 it turns her into a scourge... o_O

Ahh, see, for things like changing weapons and such, you got to edit this number, the one in orange, SetDeaths(P6, SetTo, 229, -29577);, until you get what you want.
